I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I must say that I really enjoyed this novel better then the first novel. Claire is completely confident in her relationship with Jonathan. She doesn't care what people think and she realizes he truly makes her happy. The two are excited (ok she is excited) over planning their wedding.
All their happiness is suddenly put in jeopardy when Claire's ex-husband comes pack in to play. He wants to talk to Claire after 5 years. She is freaking out. Then when her and Jonathon go to a wedding planners she sees Amanda there....Twilight Zone!!! When did they move to California and how come she didn't know????
Well Claire and Jonathan have a few "typical' agreements, have hot steamy sex and even make a no-sex-til-wedding arrangement which Jonathan makes sure Claire will regret....lol. The couple are happy but a few minor miscommunications, a bad face to face encounter with Claire and Ryan leaves Jonathan mad and things start to fall apart.
I will say I enjoyed this novel alot more then the first. Claire was FINALLY able to just love Jonathan for the MAN he is not the CHILD she thinks he is. Jonathan is also finally at ease because Claire is secure in their relationship.
