OMG- HOW LONG DO WE HAVE TO WAIT?

Yep, that is exactly how I feel at this moment. I am sort of speechless!

You all know the movie A Knight’s Tale, remember that line ‘You have been weighed. You have been measured and you have been found wanting.’ that is so me right now!!!

First, you all need to know that I read Dirty Deeds as a standalone. I just haven’t gotten to the HH series yet. So don’t panic if you haven’t read those yet cause Dirty Deeds worked fine for me as a standalone. Do I now wanna go read Prophet?…DUH!!!

What can I say about SE Jakes that everybody hasn’t already. She writes the most entertaining stories and the men just make you drool. So if you haven’t picked up a book by her yet, then you are so missing out. She manages to put a movie in a book..so great. You never know exactly what’s going to happen but there is always a little twist that somehow leaves you saying “OMG!” This is why she has become one of my favorite Authors. You are never disappointed and that rings above true for Dirty Deeds!

This is a short story that manages to punch you in the gut and leave you gasping for air! I loved it!! This is a story of spooks and spies in an intense thrilling mystery that will leave you speechless. It’s a web of espionage and a beginning of a steamy relationship. Cillian, is the man everyone is questioning. They need to know just whose side he is on and Mal is the one they send to find out. Little do they know, they are searching for the same terrorist/assasin, who had wronged them both in life.

Cillian and Mal are two very sizzling alphas who are use to being in control. When they collide it’s a battle to see who is boss right from the first meeting. These two men are accustomed to being alone especially when you do their line of work.  When they need to let off some steam they find it in a back room at a bar. It’s easier no attachments and no morning afters. So when Mal decides to take his assignment a little further and hooks up with Cillian at the bar, the chemistry just explodes! (yeah I was drooling!!) Thus begins the budding relationship of the two DOMS. (yep, that’s right I said Doms, crazy hot right! Oh, wait did I tell you that one of them is a “Switch”! For me there is nothing more sexy than a switch, it is the ultimate show of strength in the alpha male.) While Mal and Cillian are hell bent on trying not to fall for one another they can’t seem to stay away from each other when the case gets heavy and they need to wind down. The intimacy these two share is so sweet and the sexting is off the charts phenomenal!!  SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!!

During the investigation into this case the web begins to unfold and dang if your not gonna get tangled all up in it! You will be so mad you just want to slap SE Jakes for this ending. It’s the ultimate cliffhanger. I can’t tell you more except to JUST READ IT!!! This is so worth it.

This was my first SE Jakes book and will not be my last.  WOW can she tell a story.  I couldn’t even write this review after I finished reading it I had to give myself time to process and wrap my mind around it.  This is a quick read but once I started I couldn’t put it down.  This book packs a punch I tell you.  From the moment I started reading tell the moment I put it down it was one of the best on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next books.  The sexting was just as hot as the sex in this book.  Plus you get not one but two hot Alpha males in one book how can you resist that.

Cillian is on an undercover mission to track down a traitor.  Mal’s assignment is to track Cillian down to find out who’s side he is on.  This is one of the best roller-coaster rides I have ever been on.  I was so giddy that Cillian and Mal were going to get together and then whoosh down that first hill of the roller-coaster straight in to a corkscrew throw in a few loops and then slam to a stop.  

I was left speechless and gasping by the time I read the last page.  I was at a total loss I had so many things running through my head I was actually holding it in my hands trying to get my thoughts together.  All I could do was sit there and stare at my IPad thinking… How… What… Why… NOOOOOO.  I may have even yelled at my IPad not wanting this to be the end.  I am not one for cliffhangers but this was the best cliffhanger I have ever read.  How long do I have to wait for the rest of the story, because I need to know?

After reading this one I found out it was a spinoff of another series.  I had no difficulties jumping in to this book and reading it without reading the other series but now I want to go back and read the Hell or High Water Series.  I would say if one book makes you want to read another series then yes it is a great book.

I received this book from the author for an honest opinion.

WTF!!  I. AM. A. MESS!!  I am like "huh?" and "what?" and "Oh no she didnt!!"...yes friends this book is only 85 pages but Crap on a cracker did it do a number on me....I literally was "lost" after reading.  I don't know who needs a cuddle more...Mal or Cillian but damn I wanna cuddle them BOTH!!  Ok so here goes my review.........

So Jen is showing me a teaser and telling me about this hot, amazing M/M book she read.  Well the teaser picture pretty  much sold me...yes i love the M/M and will defo be reading more from this series.  Ok back to the review, SOOO  I figure Cool 85 pages I can knock that out in a day and move on to another book.  WELLLL, I didnt read for 2 days!!  Yes book hangover after 85 pages!!!  85 Freaking mind blowing, mega twisted, wild, hawt, sexy, orgasmic pages......OMG I can't stay focused....ok review Angie...tell them about the book already.....

So Mal and Cillian are spies for opposite teams basically.  I will admit i got really confused at the beginning with all the spies and teams so Jen had to give me a "cliff notes version" of the who and whats...yeah I can be a bit slow at times PLUS the first sex scene hit and I was a little light headed!!! Anyway, Cillian is out to get John not knowing that Mal is also after the same Man because he believes this old partner has tried to kill him.  Who wouldnt wanna find the guy who tried to kill you right?  Well Mal and Cillian start sexting each other after "meeting" in a club but Cillian doesnt know who Mal is but Mal knows Cillian.  The two have some of the freaking hottest sexting scenes I have ever freaking read...and people I have read me some hot stories with steamy sexting....Man, I can't even think about it with out blushing a bit.  I will say I was screen shooting it and showing my friends and saying "holy shit this is freaking hot!!"  Which is what got my friend/blogger Melinda to read it too...yes we like dirty sexy stories!!  LOL

So Mal and Cillian are both kind feeling each other but think they cant make it work or that the other isn't interested in the relationship.....then at the end of the book you are thinking "yeah happy HEA TIME" but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  you get a total gut check.  I was sobbing and crying while at work. I was lost and broken and a bit mad that Jen didn't tell me EXACTLY how torn up I would be.  I mean It was a WTF moment I didn't see coming.  I am still like a mess.  i dont know who i feel sorrier for ...Mal or Cillian!!  OMG  am having an upset stomach right freaking now as i type this review.......seriously I cant give a lot of dets because this book is just so freaking awesome you NEED to experience it for yourself!!!

Ok, I just finished this as well.  I just read all of the Twinsie reviews above and I could not agree more!!  I can't add much more than the same OMG, WTF, OH MY LORD moments that they did.  I will definitely be reading the next book when it comes out.....is it out yet?  ....... when?.......... how about now?............ugh!!  I need it now?  I need more of that hot sexting or the even hotter sex scenes!!!  oh wow.... just wow!!!  Who knows the release date of the next book?!?!?  SE Jakes?   WHEN?  can we bribe you?

This is the second book in The Invisibles Series.  I thought Brady was great and I knew there was something about Grant but man he is something special.  I had to have a box of tissues handy for this one.  It tugged at my heartstrings so many times.  Jessa and Grant are both broken in different ways but they are so right for each other even if neither one believes they deserve the other. 

Grant does not want a relationship or to fall in love because everyone he has loved has ended up leaving him in some way.  Jessa believes she is finally over the betrayal of an ex-boyfriend and has been dating Rob.  There are feeling between Jessa and Grant but Grant refuses to act on them because of Rob, even if he is a DB.  Finally Jessa see’s the light with Rob breaks it off and goes looking for Grant (insert happy dance).  

It isn’t all rainbows and fairytales for Grant and Jessa they both have to let go of their past (insert box of tissues and me wanting to crawl in the book to cuddle with them both when they tell their stories).  I love it when Jessa stands up to Emily and tells her why she is waiting outside Grants bedroom and Grant enjoyed hearing what she had to say too I might add.  I love the brother/sister type relationship that Trey and Jessa end up having.  I also enjoyed that you see some of the same people from Don’t Let Go besides the guys and Sadie.  We are also introduced to Jessa’s parents and Sister, Sam, which I enjoyed reading the interactions of all three with the guys Sadie and Jessa. 

There are so many good parts to this book the visions Grant has of Jessa, the ski trip to Colorado, and the letters were a killer for me. You can see there is something between these two from the moment they meet in Don’t Let Go and it grows and grows from there.  For two soles who have lost so much they can really love one another. I loved the Pictionary scene and yes the four guys playing volleyball with their shirts off would have won right away.  LOL

After reading about Brady and Grant I loved them both each holding special qualities.  However, now that I know a little more about Trey and Dex I really need to know their stories. After reading the epilogue, which I’m a huge sucker for, I so hope Trey gets the HEA he deserves.   I think Trey is going to take the cake but there is something about Dex that’s telling me he may be the best of all.

Michelle Lynn has always been a reader, but her passion has become a full-blown addiction since her husband bought her a Kindle for Mother's Day. She's pretty sure that he regrets this on a regular basis. Especially when she has it propped up next to the stove while she cooks, which often results in a burnt dinner. I received this book ARC in return for an honest review.

OMG I have been waiting for this book.  I loved the banter between Gwen and Austin in Brady's book soooooo needless to say I am excited.

Gwen has been through the wringer.  Brother Brady ditched her and left her with their not so awesome parents to then mary a not so awesome husband and live a not so amazing life.  She only has one good thing....her daughter Emma.  Well it seems Gwens ex is bent on getting her back into his life because he "loves" her..well loves to hit her that is.  She is hiding out and Brady is scared so he contacts Austin to cone and "watch" her while he is on tour with Layla.  So as you can imagine feisty Gwen is non to thrilled to have a baby sitter.  Austin is loving the fact she is annoyed and seems to love bugging her even more.  So the two are "getting along" when the stalking begins by Gwens Ex.  Austin moves the girls into his house and the whole dynamic changes.  Gwen and him are "relating to each other using their bodies" annnnnd he now is thinking of them as HIS GIRLS.  He is playing barbies with Emma and tucking her in bed...but but but Austin is a bad ass Navy Seal!!  He can't be a .......dare I say it...the D word.....a DAD!!!  GASP or a husband........

Enter into the story Gwens best friend Ellie...who we find out has some secrets of her own and is being terrorized by the ex as well.  Gwen and Ellie begin to fear the William has found them.  austin is scratching his head at the fact he thinks he loves Gwen and Gwen is left perplexed cuz she has falles for him but they cant be.  He wants the military and what woman wants to have a man leaadving all the time.  Gwen wants freedom and not to rely in anyone but herself so a relationship will not workl........

Sooo as you can tell : HOT MESS!!!  Thier is alot of chemistry and alot of mystery plus a lotta "what the heck" and "where the heck is he" through this entire book.  I am amazed this this is the author who writes in one series about sex toys and vibrator races with lollipops and sex swings.  This series she writes great mysteries and suspence with the amazing sex and humor you expect from her.  I mean Tara can write just about anything she sets her mind to IMO!!!

I received an ARC from the Author to give a truthful review. 

I have been waiting for this book since the teaser at the end of Because of You.  I loved the tantrum that Gwen threw wanting a pink gun and to have Austin say “Pink and Sparkles” in the same sentence. I knew this was going to be a good one.  I am a sucker for a strong woman in a story not a week girl that needs protecting.

Gwen can hold her own by all means.  She has had a hard life you wouldn’t know it by looking at her and her family.  Sometimes things aren’t always as they seem on the outside.  Her brother enlists the help of Austin to watch after Gwen while he is away.   Austin is a player and thinks this is going to be an easy assignment looking after Brady’s little sister.  Being the tough gal Gwen is she is having no part of Austin “babysit” her.  Gwen is reunited with her best friend, Ellie, who has a secret of her own that floors Gwen. 

The banter between Gwen and Austin is great and then add little Emma to the mix.  I love it when Austin played Navy SEAL with Emma all to keep her from making him “look pretty”.  The scene at the airport was a tearjerker for me (and that is all I’m saying about that).  Reading the scene where Austin takes Gwen to the shooting range and has her pick a gun.  I loved reading her throw her tantrum again over wanting a pink gun.

 Who would have thought that a strong willed woman and a sweet little girl would have worn down the walls to a tough Navy SEAL or a tough Navy SEAL would have made his way in to a strong willed woman and sweet little girls heart.  After all the time Austin spends with Gwen and Emma he has to decide if he wants to be with “his girls” or a SEAL.  He doesn’t see a way to have them both.

I loved the suspense that Tara has in all these books.  This one is no different.  You think you know what is going on and who is behind things and then part way through you start to second guess yourself.  You have no idea who is behind the crazy things that are going on and then when it becomes apparent who it is and why you think WOW didn’t see that one coming. So once again I will be waiting for the next one to see what kind of a ride Tara will take me on next.
