Let Me Love Cover Reveal (The Invisibles Book 3) by Michelle Lynn

RELEASE DATE: FEBRUARY 27, 2014

SYNOPSIS:

A chance encounter. An undeniable connection. An unimaginable twist of fate.

Kailey’s life is crumbling. Her best friend and sister, Jen, is dying, leaving her young family devastated. With little hope of saving her, Kailey is forced to face a reality she never expected.

Trey’s life is fun and carefree. He loves the girls, his drums, and his friends. That’s not to say he isn’t continuously plagued by a difficult decision made years ago—one that changed the course of his life.

Despite the connection they make when their paths unexpectedly cross, Kailey knows her life has no room for anyone else right now. But regardless of how many times she pushes him away, Trey only fights harder to make a place for him in her life and in her heart.

Trey thought he knew heartbreak, but he had no idea until life gave him a second chance, only to snatch it away just as fast. This time he’s determined to keep his place in the life of the ones he loves.

Is there such a thing as fate? If so, can Kailey and Trey hold on to one another long enough to discover there’s no such thing as a chance encounter?

Collaboration Release Launch by Michelle Lynn Featuring Neaveh Lee

 YouTube BOOK TRAILER:

This is not your typical rock star romance. For one, the “rock star” is a rapper. And not just any rapper. Trace is the hottest ticket in the music industry right now, regardless of which definition of ‘hot’ you choose.

Taryn Starr is not the girl-next-door who unknowingly meets a celebrity. Known as “America’s Sweetheart,” the reigning country music princess and world-renowned superstar knows exactly who Trace is…or does she?

Their worlds collide when the musicians whose paths were never destined to cross are forced by their joint record label to collaborate on a song. The sparks fly and ignite a fire that blazes hotter with every minute they spend together—for better or worse. One thing’s for certain, the two media magnets can’t deny their explosive chemistry, but will life in the spotlight ultimately bring Trace and Taryn together or force them apart?

***This contemporary romance new adult novel is for mature audiences. The language alone would make a sailor blush (the guy’s a rapper, remember?) so 18+ only, please***

Excerpt :

My guitarist, huh? I can’t help but wonder what else he is to her. Considering his close proximity and the adoring way he’s looking at her, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out what he wants to be. Question is, what does she want? Or rather, who? And why the hell do I care anyway?

“Trace?” I snap out of my ridiculous thoughts to see both Taryn and Ryder staring at me. I also don’t miss the curious look her mom is shooting my way, arched eyebrow included.
“Nice to meet you,” I say, using my most polite voice. It’s a good thing my boys aren’t listening in or they’d be giving me shit for sure. “You must be a hell of a guitar player to get to back up this girl.” Okay, that was a dig I just couldn’t help.

“I do what I can,” he says with a smirk, and I have the unexpected urge to knock that grin right off country boy’s face. My label would love that, me starting a fight right here at the home office. “Oh, and congrats on the win, by the way, even if you did beat my girl here. Then again, she did take home the grand prize so it’s all good, right?”

If Taryn was a fire hydrant, he just pissed all over her. Yeah, I better get the fuck out of here and fast. “Yeah, we’re good. Look, it’s good to meet you, but I gotta jet...literally,” I say and notice the way the corner of Taryn’s perfect pink lips turn up at my words. “Tour starts tomorrow.”

“I heard about your tour,” he says and I raise my eyebrows. This should be interesting because I know this redneck doesn’t listen to my music. “What’s it called again?” he asks, and I see his eyes shift to the right where there is a newly-released tour poster covering half of the damn wall. The words “This is Me, Motherfuckers” are emblazoned across a life-sized version of me giving two middle fingers to anyone who sees it. Ironically, this poster doesn’t really represent me at all, but this asshole doesn’t need to know that. I’m not sure why exactly, but he is definitely trying to make me look bad in front of Taryn. Well, two can play at that game.

“I guess they don’t teach you how to read down where you’re from, huh?” I ask, indicating the poster. I don’t miss Taryn’s mouth drop open in shock at my words. So much for being polite, I think.

“Actually,” he says, the ever-present smirk still firmly in place, “our home state is known for its high literacy rates.” And there he goes pissing again.

“Well, that’s nice to hear and if I had more time, I’d love a little lesson on the educational system in Texas. But I have a tour to start so if you’ll excuse me, I’ll have to see both of ya’ll later,” I say and brush past Ryder, not bothering to look Taryn’s way again.

Nevaeh Lee Bio:
Nevaeh’s first exposure to writing began in a middle school creative writing class. She was reprimanded for composing a politically incorrect story and forced to re-write about a “safer” topic. Being the writing rebel that she is, Nevaeh always likes to push the envelope a bit and never re-writes, unless her editor insists on it.

When she’s not writing, Nevaeh is a freelance book editor ;). And when she’s not reading, writing, or editing, she can be found spending time with her family and taking road trips, exploring the area around wherever she happens to be living at the time. Even though “home” will always be Texas, she has lived in several different states and countries, but currently resides in the DC metro area.

She also adores her really big dog who frequently takes her for walks while enduring her many story ideas and rambling dialogue, which sometimes occurs in multiple languages. After many years of this, she finally decided to start writing out some of these stories and her first book, a joint effort called Collaboration, will be self-published on January 26, 2014.

Let Me In - By Michelle Lynn

Let Me In (The Invisibles, #2)

Book Blurb:
**This is a STANDALONE! You do not need to read book 1 in order to enjoy LET ME IN ***

Grant is damaged, selfish, and undeserving of love…or so he thinks.

Jessa is happy, in love, and has overcome her past…or so she thinks.

Grant and Jessa can’t stop thinking about one another since being introduced at a party a month ago. And despite their differences, they can’t seem to stay away from each other either. However, both are hiding secrets of less-than-perfect pasts, fearing what will happen when those mistakes come to light. As they grow closer, they each battle their own insecurities, and neither believes that they are worthy of the kind of love that they both still want. So if it’s true that opposites attract, what happens when the similarities begin to surface?

Melinda's Review:
This is the second book in The Invisibles Series.  I thought Brady was great and I knew there was something about Grant but man he is something special.  I had to have a box of tissues handy for this one.  It tugged at my heartstrings so many times.  Jessa and Grant are both broken in different ways but they are so right for each other even if neither one believes they deserve the other.

Grant does not want a relationship or to fall in love because everyone he has loved has ended up leaving him in some way.  Jessa believes she is finally over the betrayal of an ex-boyfriend and has been dating Rob.  There are feeling between Jessa and Grant but Grant refuses to act on them because of Rob, even if he is a DB.  Finally Jessa see’s the light with Rob breaks it off and goes looking for Grant (insert happy dance).

It isn’t all rainbows and fairytales for Grant and Jessa they both have to let go of their past (insert box of tissues and me wanting to crawl in the book to cuddle with them both when they tell their stories).  I love it when Jessa stands up to Emily and tells her why she is waiting outside Grants bedroom and Grant enjoyed hearing what she had to say too I might add.  I love the brother/sister type relationship that Trey and Jessa end up having.  I also enjoyed that you see some of the same people from Don’t Let Go besides the guys and Sadie.  We are also introduced to Jessa’s parents and Sister, Sam, which I enjoyed reading the interactions of all three with the guys Sadie and Jessa.

There are so many good parts to this book the visions Grant has of Jessa, the ski trip to Colorado, and the letters were a killer for me. You can see there is something between these two from the moment they meet in Don’t Let Go and it grows and grows from there.  For two soles who have lost so much they can really love one another. I loved the Pictionary scene and yes the four guys playing volleyball with their shirts off would have won right away.  LOL

After reading about Brady and Grant I loved them both each holding special qualities.  However, now that I know a little more about Trey and Dex I really need to know their stories. After reading the epilogue, which I’m a huge sucker for, I so hope Trey gets the HEA he deserves.   I think Trey is going to take the cake but there is something about Dex that’s telling me he may be the best of all.

Here are a few of my favorites:

I love the way her small frame wraps perfectly around me, almost as if were built to fit together like a puzzle. The thought that I found my final puzzle piece to make me whole, alarms me to no end. ~Grant

You have no idea how you look in my eyes, do you? It’s not just your looks Jessa. You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. It pours out of you when you walk into the room. People can’t help but notice you. ~Grant

“It’s not your hair, your tattoos, or your piercings. You have such a big heart and you love so easily. I’m envious. I didn’t fall in love with the way you look; I fell in love with the part of you.” I moved my hand over her heart. ~Grant.

About the Author:
Michelle Lynn has always been a reader, but her passion has become a full-blown addiction since her husband bought her a Kindle for Mother's Day. She's pretty sure that he regrets this on a regular basis. Especially when she has it propped up next to the stove while she cooks, which often results in a burnt dinner. Or when he loses sleep because the glow from the screen wakes him up when he rolls over at three in the morning. He does agree, however, that she uses this gift more than any other he has ever gotten her. She joking counters that, because of some of the steamy novels she reads, he also benefits more from this gift than any other he has gotten her. ;)

Don't Let Go - by Michelle Lynn

Don't Let Go (The Invisibles, #1)

 Book Blurb:
Sadie Miller is attempting to change her ways and hide somewhere no one knows her former self. She only wants to finish her final year of college, obtain her degree, and get out from the hold of her affluent parents. Then she meets Brady Carsen, the lead singer of The Invisibles, a popular local band in the college town. She tries to stay away but quickly realizes that, although he might not be what she’s used to, he’s exactly what she needs and more importantly, everything she could possibly want.

Unfortunately, Sadie’s troubled past left her with insecurities that make her question Brady’s true intentions. And while Brady is convinced that Sadie is the one for him, he has his own secrets that he fears will be their undoing. If they want to be together, they will have to stand united and fight the outside influences that are threatening to tear them apart. Can they put their pasts behind them for good in order to secure their future?

Melinda's Review:

I purchased the box set and oh so glad I did because I needed more.  This is about Brady and Sadie who both have skeletons in their closets.  What I love about this book is that we are let in on the secrets a little at a time.  We know they have secrets and skeletons but not 100% on what they are.  It was kind of like sneaking around a corner you know something is going to be there you’re just not sure what it is going to be then bam there it is in your face.

Sadie transferred to Western her senior year.  Her roommate, Jessa, drags her to a party where she runs into Brady.  Brady tries to convince her to stay but she bolts.  He is determined to make her his but she is not so sure.  With everything that has happened in her past she has a hard time letting anyone.  I love how patient he is with her and how he fights for the both of them.

I like how she takes Rob head on when she has had enough.  I love how he tells her how he plans on things going the first time they are “together”.  I also love what Brady does for Sadie on her birthday, their first “real” date, the trip to the farmers market meeting Mrs. Fletcher, who can forget the surprise trip, and then when we meet Sadie’s parents and Grandma Ida. I absolutely loved her Grandma Ida.  I’m not a big fan of her parents or Kara by the way.  When Brady’s secrets are exposed he tries to push Sadie away but in true Sadie fashion she is not having any part of what Brady wants.

There were so may ups, downs, and twist I had a few lumps in my throat at times.  I do have to say I cannot wait to start reading Let Me In I just have to know how the next one goes.

Here are a few of my favorites:
“I won’t give up. If you’re not going to fight for this…I’ll do it for the both of us.” ~Brady

Either he is oblivious to women checking him out, or he has the courtesy not to look when he is on a date because the waitress is young and attractive. ~Sadie

“It was perfect, Brady. I wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate my birthday any other way,”~Sadie

“I still want you in my bed tonight. I want to wrap my arms around you, hold you close to my chest, and feel your heartbeat against mine.” ~Brady
