Loving Two Doms - Holly S. Roberts

Loving Two Doms
Holly S. Roberts

Book Review by Brenda Wright
Book Blurb:
Blood Rights lead guitarist, Matt Mathews, and keyboard player, Stephon Cross, live a passionate life of shared women, kinky sex, and close friendship. But something’s missing.

Stephon’s past haunts him and only his friend Matt understands and brings balance to hold Stephon’s tightly leashed anger in check. Matt loves his friend but he’s tired of one-night-stands and longs for one woman to fulfill them both and help tame Stephon’s beast.
Jewel, a strong but physically scarred waitress, working in a small café, wants to be loved and cherished, but learned early that life isn’t a sweet melody.

Can Jewel resist Matt’s devilish charm and his friend Stephon’s roving hands when Matt isn’t looking? And, when she discovers their kinky secret can she give her heart by Loving Two Doms?
Warning: This book is intended for mature audiences, 18 + only, and contains graphic sex, strong language, content that may be objectionable to some but perfect for others. M/F/M, Ménage, BDSM, bondage, voyeurism, anal play, and luscious male bodies.

Author’s Note: Loving Two Doms, an El Diablo Club: Bad Boys of Rock Book can be read as a standalone or a continuation of Bad Boy Dom.

My Review:
OH Wow!!!  I’m still fanning myself after reading this book!!  This book was suggested to me by a friend.  I always trust her judgment and never steers me wrong.  She said 4 words....rocker...tattoos....hotties.....MFM..... I was sold.  I have never read a book by Holly Roberts.  I will be reading more!

Starts off with two rockers who like to share women.  These ex-military turned rockers (Matt and Stephon) have a unique friendship.  They’ve been thru the war together.  They’ve each saved each other!  They don’t think they can live without one another.  They like to share women, but Matt wakes up one morning and cannot remember “what’s her name’s” name and realizes that he wants something more.  He wants to find ONE woman.....that they can both share.  He doesn’t think that’s possible.  While trying to escape the “morning after” cuddle with their latest conquest, Matt goes for a walk and the aroma of home-made muffins grabs his attention and goes into a tiny diner.  When the waitress asks for his order he thinks he’s gone to heaven and sees the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen.  She’s sassy and tries to cover her scar from him.  He is intrigued.  She tries to cover the scar on her face and he won’t allow it.  He cannot get her out of his mind.

He doesn’t’ want to come back the next day, but he can’t help himself.  He works up a friendship with Jewel and cannot stay away.  He is falling fast for her and he doesn’t think this sweet and sassy girl will go for his type of sex.  And there’s NO WAY she would go for a ménage relationship with Stephon and him.  Stephon instantly sees that Matt is distracted.  He is instantly jealous and wants to meet her.  They meet and Jewel is instantly attracted to him but feels very guilty about it.  He’s very touchy-feely and it makes her feel guilty because she really likes Matt.

Matt and Stephon struggle with telling her all of their secrets.  Can she handle them.  Is she too “vanilla” to understand their lifestyle?

All I can say is this book is HOT HOT HOT!!!  It should come with a fire extinguisher warning!!  Jewel is a strong woman who has gone through hell and has survived and thrived.  She was forced to grow up quick.  Matt and Stephon have learned to work with their kinks to best serve each other.

This is a great story....When I finished I really wanted more.  Since this is part of a series (I did not read the first books – this is a standalone) – I am now going back to read the rest of the series.  You are introduced to some of them in this book, and it makes you really want to know their back stories.  I will now find out!

So if you’ve read Holly Roberts’ books, you will not want to miss out on this one!!  If you have not....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!  I’m a new fan!! Have you read this?  Leave a comment on your favorite part!!!

Here are some of my favorite quotes:

No man should look this sexy in the morning.

“I’m not eating before kissing you.” – Matt

“How many times do you normally orgasm when you have sex?”
Oh, God, she couldn’t believe he asked, and her hands came up to cover her eyes.  Warm fingers took ahold of hers and lifted them away.  She had no choice but to look at him.
“How many?”
Her voice was barely above a whisper, “One....if I’m lucky.”
He laughed, the jerk.  “I can promise several.”

“You know you’re the perfect man, don’t you?” – Jewel to Matt

“You’re an amazing dream come true” – Matt to Jewel

About the Author
I began writing as a child and cut my teeth on Edgar Allan Poe, Louisa May Alcott, and Alexandre Dumas. Even then I was a warped romantic and found a kinky passion in Poe's writing. I moved on to Jude Deveraux, Judith McNaught, and Bertrice Small. As my life experience grew so did my reading tastes and I found I loved the authors who pushed the romantic envelope; Mary Balogh's A Precious Jewel comes to mind.

I love the outdoors and have hiked the Grand Canyon three times. Gardening continues to be my muse and listening to my pond's waterfall sets the mood for day dreaming which easily turns to writing.
At age twelve a boy across campus was pointed out to me and I instantly fell in love. Four years later he finally took notice and became the love of my life. I tend to write "love at first sight" because I live it. My teenage heartthrob and I live in the Southwest United States with our Rottweiler and Chihuahua. They have us well trained and we obey all commands.

I love books, chick flicks, coffee, chocolate, and wine. The order depends on my mood.
My passions are reading and writing with a dominating hubby on the side.
