In 9 Days Review
I loved this sweet mature YA novel. I loved how the author did a true representation of how cruel teens can be with other peers. Kevin is immediately called "the Freak" because of his scars. Tessa seems to be drawn to this young man and does everything she can to be near him. The connection the 2 share is amazing. You can feel their bond while you are reading. You know that they have the "stuff" to make it as a future couple. As they finally admit their love for each other and Kevin tells of his past, everything was ripped away. I know I felt the pain that Tessa felt at losing her first love.
I finished this book and immediately began the 2nd book because I needed to know what happened to Kevin and Tessa.

The 2nd book in the sweet Mature YA series focuses in 3 years after Kevin/Luke has gone. Tessa/Tesse has gone off to college and started a relationship with Jerrod. Jerrod is a sweet and patient guy who loves Tesse. She wants to love him but Luke is always in her mind. Well when he shows back up everything turns to a mess for Tesse. She wants to be with Luke but he tells her he is leaving and they wont see each other again. I cant tell you Luke got an ear full from me when he came and told her that. This novel is all about Tesse trying to figure out what she wants, The future with Jerrod which is safe OR take the chance with Luke and the unknown.
I can't wait for the last installment of this series.....Forever and Counting.
