Soldier in Chains by Megan Martin

Dorian North, a soldier in the United States Army, is only hours away from being finished with her final tour in Afghanistan. It's only when she’s ambushed by al Qaeda that Dorian is knocked unconscious and awakens to find herself bound and gagged in a stranger's bed. She desperately tries to escape, but quickly finds herself enamored with her captor's alarming handsomeness.

Rob Hutcherson is a former Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps, who stumbled upon an al Qaeda ambush. He rescues the surviving soldier: the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. Taking her back to his home he finds his attraction to the fierce young woman to be overwhelming. When she wakes for the first time her goal is clear: escape. 

In fear for her safety he chains her to his bed. He can't bear the thought of losing her, so he plans to show the little spit fire all the reasons she should stay

I received this short story for an honest review.

I will start this by saying...I wish it was longer...39 ish pages was just to short for these characters!!!  I wanted...scratched that...needed more to their story.  But that is really my only complaint.  The story is solid, hot, steamy and a great read!!!

So Dorian is on her last mission fighting in the middle east when her  and her co-pilot are attacked.  She wakes up chained to a bed of a gorgeous AMERICAN!!!  WHAT !!!  She has no clue why but is drawn to him.  She cant understand the attraction except for the fact that being in the military cuts down on her sexy times. 

Rob was in the military and has decided to live in the middle east after finishing his military career.  He stumbles upon the bodies and is happy to find one alive and the fact she is a woman calls to him.  He takes Dorian back to hims house to protect her and care for her after her injuries...however the chemistry they both feel is very very very ...did I mention very well written......

The couple are both very stubborn and the "punishment" scene is actually pretty funny...not for me because i would be a mad mama but when you are reading about someone else's needs" not being met...well yeah you can giggle a bit!!!  Also I loved when Dorian flipped the tables on Rob when she was "sleep" talking.....

Anyway this story is really short but if you have an hour to read, this is a great book to grab.
