Inside Out - Andrew Grey - Review

Inside Out

Andrew Grey

Former mercenary Bull Krebbs now heads up security at his nightclub in Harrisburg, PA. Working the door night after night, he's seen it all. Though tough on the outside, he's a little hurt that people find him unapproachable. Then he pulls a cute twink out of line to perform a random search, and he's surprised when the guy giggles and squirms.
Zach Spencer, graphic artist, twink, and seriously ticklish, isn't intimidated by Bull. He's in awe, and when Bull saves Zach from being trampled on the dance floor, Zach finds his inspiration for the superhero in his graphic novel.
Soon Zach wants more and makes his move by asking Bull on a date. Though small, he has a LooPbackbone of steel. He'll need it—their happily ever after is thwarted at every turn, including by Bull's interloping mother showing up unannounced and enemies from Bull's past threatening to pull him to the other side of the world.

This is really my first Andrew Grey book and I was not disappointed at all. I will be a fan forever now. I really enjoyed this very fun loving read about two total opposites that fall in love. The blurb for this book is how I managed to stumble across it and boy I’m so glad I did.
I loved that Bull is the big tough looking guy who just takes care of business but yet on the inside he is a big teddy bear and quite vulnerable. Zach is the young artist that has had some bumps in life but is resilient to what life has handed him. When these to collide at Bull’s club the chemistry is immediately seen and you just know that its gonna be fun watching it unfold. Bull can’t seem to keep his eyes of the younger hottie every time Zach is at the club. Zach is creating a comic book and once he decides Bull is the perfect hero, he knows he has to get to know this man. Thus begins the pursuit. Once they manage to form a budding romance they both realize that learning to trust and communicate with each just may be their biggest obstacles.
What I loved was the strength in Zach. His conservative family abandoned him after he came out. He isn’t afraid to go after what he wants. He is still shy and inexperienced but he is fearless once he knows what he wants. Bull has this tough dexterity but on the inside he’s just a big softy!! He doesn’t trust easily, he doesn’t really communicate well especially his own feelings and he is somewhat of a loner. Total opposites on what you expect these characters to be. I loved it and thought it made the story so much better. Now the sex is so romantic and ….just Hot!!!! (who doesn’t like the big Tough guy being all gentle with the virgin!!)  Bull is the ultimate lover and I just want to cuddle all night with him!! This book had some great drama and lots of humor along the way. I would recommend this book to everyone! What a fun read and I can’t wait for more Andrew Grey!!!
