Book Blurb:
How does a vampire fight a government determined to exterminate his race? Any bloody way he can.
Fledgling Julian Wilkes is thrust into a nightmare world where Seattle's vampire population are brutally victimized by humans.
After the devastating loss of his career as a symphony musician, Julian has little left to believe in until he meets Saranna, a female vampire who steals his breath and his heart.
But after witnessing the horrifying murder of three young vampires, Julian understands that only the underground Resistance can save his persecuted race from total government annihilation and he wants to join the fray—if only he can prove himself a warrior
Toni's Review:
There is so much to love about Blood Judgement I hardly know where to begin! This is definitely my favorite genre to begin with, but it is so different than anything had read before I couldn't put it down.
In the world Nickie Asher has created for us and so brilliantly written, we see what it would be like to be hunted by your own government, tortured and killed simply because you are a vampire. Julian is brought into this world by a series of mistakes made as young violinist and this is how we are introduced to the lovely and compassionate Saranna who saves him in more ways than one than he could possibly imagine. *cough cough* can you say HOT AND HOTTER SEX??
And that brings us to her brother Slade....while I was less than impressed with his behavior toward Saranna and even WORSE toward Julian I am SO very excited to be beta reading his book SQUEEEEEE because I know he has some deep dark secret that is causing this this behavior.... But what will it be??
Ashton is their cousin who raised Slade and Saranna when their parents disappeared and is part of The Resistance. These boys are bad-ass.... There is a story of shorts out right now that I will be getting my dirty little hands on momentarily. So excited!!!
