Angie J's Review:
Ok where the heck do I start??? DONT READ THIS IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BOOKS 1-5!!!!! Ok now thats outta the way.......This book is probably the best in the series for a multitude of reasons. I love going back in time to see a young Jack and his friends. I loved getting to know Brandis as a young man and meet/court (behind Jack's back ) Mo. I think the introduction of Rafe was great too because he is sooo stubborn like the Gordon family so he will definately have to hold his own!!
I love that Liz keeps the future story lines up and fresh. We still have some Jack and Sara drama because they are both so much alike that they cant open up fully to the other. Do I need to discuss the Shannon scene...ugh Sara!!!! We get to see Rob and Lila dealing with the loss of Blake. We get to see a bit of Kyle and Shannon's story and Evan and Julie's story developing as well. (Pitter patter goes my heart at the mention of Kyle.) This book has alot of plots going but never to many to be confusing. This book in the series is doing a great job begining to wrap up the "family" and start the kids books. Speaking of the kids, I am sooo very excited after the epilogue's secrets about Gabe...SQUEEEE...dont wanna spoiler anything to anyone but OMG killer!!! Which anyone who reads Liz's books know that her epilogues are amazing!!!!!!!
I have to say my favorite scenes were the fighting with baby/toddler boys Brandis and Gabe....frenemies for sure !! However my favorite "adult scene" was definately the wax scene. This was a great scene where Sara takes control and as we know Jack isnt a fan of losing control.....nicely done there Ms. Crowe...niiicely done!! Ok and I must admit I did get the giggles when Jack was telling Mo about what she will and wont be doing with Rafe toward the end of the booki...classic scene for a Gordon family member.
Ok so again I find myself rambling but seriously this series is sooooo amazing I just cant not talk about it or promote it. The books get better and better. If you havent tried a book your need to. You will not be dissappointed...angry and irritated but never dissappointed in her books!
