Shh Moms Reading Blog Tour UPDATED COVER, VIDEO and Review of One Week Girlfriend By Monica Murphy

NEW COVER 2/22/13
Book Blurb:
**Mature situations and sexual content - recommended for ages 17+**

Temporary. That one single word best describes my life these last few years. I’m working at a temporary job until I can finally break free. I’m my little brother’s temporary mother since our mom doesn’t give a crap about either of us. And I’m that temporary girl all the guys want to get with because I give it up so easily. According to the rumors, at least.

But now I’m the temporary girlfriend of Drew Callahan, college football legend and all around golden guy. He’s beautiful, sweet—and he’s hiding way more secrets than I am. He’s brought me into this fake life where everyone seems to hate me. And everyone seems to want something from him. The only thing he seems to want though is…

Me.

I don’t know what to believe anymore. All I know is, I think Drew needs me. And I want to be there for him.

Forever.

Angie J's Review:

So I have to admit the reason I chose to review this book was the hot cover AND the interesting concept of the book...pay someone to be a fake girlfriend....errr....pay the town whore to be your fake girlfriend.  Interesting and yes Pretty Woman like.....  I have to say I really enjoyed this book.  There was a lot of things going on between the characters.  No it wasn't all sex issues at first but just hidden demons and everyone has demons.

Drew is a hot mess who is totally shut down.  A robot....emotionless.....and I have to ask myself why?  I mean he has it all so why is he so closed off.   Fable is so lonely that she does have relations with boys because it makes her feel needed and loved.....she has a crap home life and is essentially raising her kid brother.  When Drew offers her $3000 to be a fake girlfriend, she jumps at the money.  Somewhere along the way the two of them forge a bond when Fable realizes he needs to be saved.  The two of them are sooo right and yet sooo wrong for each other....Marshmallow will never be the same for me.....

Drew's family consists of his father and stepmother who has raised him.  She is FREAKY and something isn't right at all with her.  The family is very messed up and Fable is there to help Drew deal with everything all the while he is also helping her deal with her insecurities.

So the story ends with a GIANT cliffhanger and I am left saying "BOOK 2 NOW PLEASE!!"  I will definitely be keeping with Drew and Fable .  I need to know if she Marshmallows him.......you know you are like WTH is she talking about!!  Well read and you will understand!!!
