About the Author:

Red Phoenix
I am a happily married woman who believes (based on personal experience) that love conquers all. It is a running theme in my writing.

One thing you will notice about my work, I'm all about variety. If a character beseeches me to write his/her story, I willingly give myself over no matter the genre or subject ~ as long as it includes hot, steamy sex. ;)

Love Endures, Phoenix (Love Endures #1) by Michelle Stevens

However, her best friend Angie hides a terrible truth and Glenn, Scott’s longtime friend, holds challenging secrets of his own.

Extended Description:

In the midst of rebuilding a new life with her son, Beth finds she must confront her greatest fear - facing the man who shattered her spirit. She is fated to meet this challenge with courage.

For you see, a Phoenix is destined to rise from the ashes…

Jo-Anna's Review:

I was blessed and lucky enough to beta read this book and I am so very thankful that I did. I just love these books. Definitely on my top 10 favorites of all time. They're enlightening, heart breaking, uplifting, spiritual...I just absolutely love them. Now for my review:

I'm very happy that we get to see more of Beth and her journey through life as a new mother and in her spiritual journey as well after her husband died in that tragic accident.

The major part of this book is about forgiveness. What would you do if a loved one was killed in a car accident because the other driver was distracted? Would you be able to forgive them? Would you willingly go to their house and make amends? Well Beth does. She asks God for strength and courage and the fact that she was able to face the driver that took Scott away from her was inspirational all in itself. I know for me, I would need all the prayers, the strength, the courage that I could get if someone took my husband from me. Especially if the accident could have been prevented. I hold so much respect for Beth for facing the man that took Scott away from her and left her a widow and a single mother.

Now, another thing. Glenn. Love him but I have a feeling that things aren't going to go well for them. Besides the fact that he was Scott's best friend...Glenn and Beth have different views on the subject of God. That's all I'm saying. I know Red/Michelle will do her characters justice and won't leave us hanging for long. I trust her and look forward to reading the rest of Beth's journey. Red could keep releasing books on Beth forever and I would not complain.

About the author:

Beats by Kendall Grey

Book 2 in the Hard Rock Harlots Series

WARNING: BEATS is specially formulated for horn dogs, porn oglers, smut peddlers, BDSM junkies, M/M and M/M/F addicts, DP dabblers, body modification connoisseurs, and lovers of A2M backdoor sexy times. If you don't fall into these categories, can't stomach hot man-on-man action, or if you have no idea what the above acronyms mean, please back away from BEATS now. This isn't the book you're looking for. Failure to heed this warning could inadvertently throw unauthorized users into a persistent vegetative state, or at the very least, require administration of a defibrillator to the chest and/or groin area. Nobody wants that.

For months, shy drummer Jinx Hardwick has been silently crushing on her tall, dark, and scary bandmate, Toombs Badcock. Drawn to his frightening ink and scars, she yearns to uncover the shadowy secrets lurking behind his silver eyes, but Jinx is too intimidated to even look at him, let alone talk to him. When she stumbles upon Toombs and their manipulative lead guitarist Rax in a compromising position, Jinx realizes her chances of winning Toombs's heart aren't just a long shot--they're nonexistent. To make matters worse, Jinx's family needs her at home. She's about to back away from it all--Toombs, the band, her dreams of fame and fortune--when Rax makes her an offer she can't refuse: a no-holds-barred night alone with Toombs. There's one small catch. She has to go through Rax to get it.

Jo-Anna's Review:

This is the second book in the Hard Rock Harlots series and I am in love. I was intrigued by Toombs in Strings and was so happy to read this book, that I dove in right after reading the first one.

Now we all know that Angie J loves Toombs but I'm sorry, FS, I will fight you for him. Lol! Okay, now for my review.

One thing I absolutely loved about this book, is that whenever the band practiced, I felt like I was there. I could see what they were doing, feel what they were feeling and although I don't know much about music, I felt like I could hear it as well. I remember thinking that I wish I could have listened to the band play in real life or that they were an actual real live band. I would be their #1 fan! A heavy metal band with 3 hot guys and 2 hot girls? You don't have that. Like at all.

Now Rax...oh my gosh. In Strings, he was a douchemonkey but not too bad. Well in Beats? Holy balls batman. But apart of me loved him also. I was drawn to him even when he treated Toombs the way he did. It broke my heart seeing what Toombs went through with him but I understood it as well. But I love Jinx and what she did for Toombs. Even though she wasn't a huge fan of Rax herself, you could tell that she was taken by him. Rax is like a drug. You know it's bad for you, you know it could destroy you. You know you shouldn't take it but you enjoy the high you got afterwards. You craved it. That's how I feel about Rax.

Jinx. Love her. Love what she did for Toombs. Love how she became all Domme. Toombs needed that and needed her and they fit perfectly together.

I also enjoyed seeing the other characters, Letty and Shades. Letty is funny as ever. Her one liners kill me. And Shades? Well he's just hot.

I don't know what else I can say about this book other then read it! It definitely has it's hot, I mean, really smoking panty melting hot moments but it also has it's sweet side. Probably one of my favorite books of 2013!

Great job, Kendall and I can't wait to read Nocturnes!

Angie J's Review:

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I LOVE ALICE TRIBUE!!  I must start my review with this statement.  Her book are "feel good books" even with the subject matter is gritty.  How is that you ask?  I mean teen pregnancy, runaway, hiding out, finding love, people trying to destroy love, being found AND a whole lotta other stuff in between and way after...........But through out all of her stories 2 things are the focus: 1. FAMILY 2. Love.  Those are such stong themes in her books and for this I enjoy reaidng her books!!

So this story is about a 17 year old, Mia, who was being forced to give her baby away.  A nurse helps her escape and so run she does with baby Lily.  They travel from sunny Florida to PHILLY????  Yup Philly......she mets a nice landlord and soon an even nicer policeman who do what no person would do and give help to a young mother.  Now in real life would a landlord rent to an 18 year old with no job...prolly not but thats ok because this is fiction and fiction is made to make me happy...not focus on the crappy world we really live in.  So the hottie cop gets her a job with his friend who Mia tells MOST of her story too.  Mia and Lily are happy until.............someone breaks into her apartment and *que hero music* enters hottie cop.  He goes alllll kiiiindas alpha male on her and takes her home until her apartment is safe.  Well do i really need to say it?  Ok I will....They kinda start getting some yummy chemistry and soon get to sleep and sleeping only in bed together.  Hottie Cop AKA Logan knows Mia is a fragile mess and takes it slow.  Ya see people, Logan knows Mia is it for him.  He is so smitten with her and baby Lily.....when she sees him rocking Lily in the chair *SWOON*  who couldnt love a guy like that???

SO Mia and Logan start to get friendly and we get some more info from Mia about baby daddy and it seems he wasnt such a nice guy to her :(  Logan takes his time and keeps up the awesome guy routine and is patient like nobodys business with this young woman.   Logan even takes her home to met his mom and dad.  Mia (and we the readers) are ready to hear it from them about how insane this relationship is and how Mia needs to leave but GASP it doesn't.  They love her and Lily!!!  Ya gotta love that.

So the drama...wow it was good...seems someone has their eye on Logan and seeing an 18 year old with her man makes her angry.  Mia's parents find her along with baby daddy.  When a big development in the story happens and we learn alllll about Mia and babby daddy.....I was shocked. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO  didnt see that at all and was like WOW AWESOME TWIST ALICE!!!

The epilogue in Logans POV was awesome.  I was cracking up at his inner thoughts while Mia is beggin her case on somestuff.  He is soo smitten with her.  We see it in the book but hearing it is a riot.  He is such a "guy" when he says "a guy will say anything to get some" I cracked up.....Oh Logan......

I abso loved the story and if you like Alice's stuff you need to read this.  It is her first time writing NA and I hope its not her last :)

Dumped in OZ Andrew Grey

Synopsis:

Tales from Kansas

Because of an opportunity he’d be a fool to turn down, Lyle Powers transfers to his company’s warehouse in central Kansas. The last thing he expects is to meet another gay man in the small town, let alone one who captures his interest.

Roger Kypers is a recovering alcoholic with a twelve-year-old daughter he only gets to see for part of the summer. Neither Lyle nor Roger is looking for a relationship, and they fumble at the start, yet emotions build as Roger shows Lyle the landmarks of Oz.

But when Roger’s wicked witch of an ex-wife threatens to take his daughter away for good if he doesn’t act “normally,” he’s faced with the challenge of letting her get away with it, or fighting to accept himself and standing up for what he knows is right.

JEN'S REVIEW
5 STARS

I totally fell in love with this book! It is a beautiful story about a man in a mid life crisis who decides to make a change in location to help jump start his life. Lyle can't believe he has been asked to move to know where land in Kansas for a career opportunity. He is apprehensive because he is so set on his routine that he doesn't realize he hasn't really been living but just existing. Once he arrives in the quiet town of Wamego, KS where every knows everyone, he quickly meets the sexy vibrant Roger. They immediately have goo-goo eyes for each other. Its so sweet, I love it. Problem is Roger has the ultimate "B" for an ex-wife and a daughter he will protect with everything.

I was totally swooning over Roger!! I love a family man. I adored the family theme this book had and I loved how no matter what Lyle just showed his strengths and went "balls to the walls" after Roger. He never once doubted his feelings about making this relationship work. Roger earns my "Dad of the Year" award for sure. I love how throughout the story we get to see Roger develop such strength and begin to believe that he deserves to be happy at all costs.

Andrew Grey manages to give the reader another fantastic story with characters that will steal your heart. I loved the OZ elements in this story and truly hope to visit Wamego just to check it out. This a great short novella with that graceful HEA that we all love about Andrew Grey books. I can't wait to read the next installment in this series. What a great book 1 to start with. So go get this one, you will love it like I did!!

If Only by Cherise Sinclair

If Only (Masters of the Shadowlands, #8)
Book Blurb:
After the last fiasco, Sally gives up. She’ll never find a Dom of her own. Instead the computer whizz is job hunting in between bending the law—just a bit—to unearth the bastards who’d enslaved her friends. The clueless cops and Feds obviously need help.

FBI special agents, Galen and Vance, have waited to play with Sally for a long time. When the mischievous submissive returns to the exclusive Shadowlands BDSM club after an ugly relationship, the experienced co-tops are pleased. Realizing she’s suppressing her emotions, the powerful Doms push her—only to find that her sassiness conceals a scarred and vulnerable heart.

Shaken by the unexpected emotional exposure, Sally flees the demanding Masters and the Shadowlands.

Both Galen and Vance have reasons not to seek a long-term submissive, but when a brutal attack by her ex-Dom sends Sally into their home, the two agents are driven to protect her. To help her. To take her under command. Falling in love isn’t in the plans.

But as the little imp brings light into their lives, they begin to want more…until they discover she’s hacked into an organization that delights in burning people alive.

Melinda's Review:
I have purchased and read all the books in this series and this was a must read for me.  I have been waiting for Sally to get her HEA for a while now.  She was always keeping the Maters at Shadowlands on their toes with her smart attitude and antics.  I do believe Sally has finally met her match with the two Feds, Galen and Vance.  I was sucked into this from the beginning.  I felt emotion they were going through, I laughed, cried, felt angry, sad, happy, and was even on the edge of my seat at times.

I enjoyed watching Galen and Vance break down Sally’s walls and force her to open up in ways she never thought she could or would and then to see Sally do the same thing to Galen and Vance, sneaky little Sally.  I love that her intelligence would get her in trouble and kept Galen and Vance on their toes.  I enjoyed the head to head with Sally and her Dad and the talk between her and her brother; don’t want to give too much away but I know you will enjoy it as much as I did, go Sally go.

Loved seeing the trainee’s antics at the club and that the subs were still giving the Masters a hard time once in a while.  The ending was great seeing everyone together and to hear all the surprises that are happening was a great way to wrap up the ending.  I cannot wait to see who is next and what kind of surprises are in store for the Shadowlands.

Jo-Anna's Review:

I can not tell you how highly anticipated this book was for me and it did not disappoint. I have read and fell in love with Cherise's books thanx to Angie J. Huge thanx to her for getting me into this series!

Watching Sally and the Feds interact in the other books from other characters POV left me wanting more and more we got with their book. Finally! Poor Cherise. She probably got bombarded with messages constantly about when is the book coming out, when is the book coming out?

I can't begin to tell you as well how much I loved the Agents. Galen and Vance would more then I expected. Definitely surprised me at times with their kink, the way they interacted with Sally and just their pure domination. I was so excited to get inside their heads.

Seeing them break down Sally's walls and get her open up like good Masters do was like a sigh of relief. It was the "it's about time" moment and it couldn't have been done in a better way.

Cherise does it again with this continuation of the Shadowlands series and I can't wait for more. Seeing the other subs, the Masters, everyone was enjoyable for me as well. Love the subs. Their quirks and the way they keep their Dom's on their toes.

I cannot wait for the next book in this series. I don't know if there is one but I know we're definitely keeping our fingers crossed!
