I loved this series and I have to admit Luke was my favorite of the love triangle. Sooo to say  I was thrilled to see everything from his POV would be an understatement!!!   He was a strong, passionate, caring man that was utterly destroyed by Em and her lies, deceit and affair.  When he left her in Philly and said what he said to her, I hurt for him.  I cried for him and her but mainly for him

When Em came back and we found out about the pregnancy I was so mad at him for how he treated her.  Yes, I got it but I was so sad he wasn't the real man he should have been.  This book we see a lot of what Luke was doing and who he was doing while he was treating Em like crap.  I was floored and stunned by the issues and surprises Claire threw his way and the Vivian scene....crazy drama Mr. Kessler!!! 

When Luke and Em get it together, if you read the other books, you know everything falls apart from the ex returning or Luke getting caught in a bad situation with the muffin lady.  All in all I grew to love Luke even more.  He really and truly wants Em and their family.  He keeps fighting gor their relationship and soon he realizes she is fighting just as hard.  Em has been though a lot from everything with the affair and what she went through with the ex but she will not let Luke go.  The fact is really clear with how she handles the dear muffin lady!!  I was cheering her on because this was the old Em who was finally BACK!!!

The couple really grow alot and seeing Luke's POV is super refreshing because we know how he feels and how much he really cares.  He will stop at nothing to keep this woman and their family together no matter what.  Anywho, I loved this series.  It has everything I consider to be a good read....hot sexy time, drama, deceit, hurt, make up, miscommunication and humor all rolled up into a great series.  If you haven't read them please do yourself a favor and one click the books.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I LOVE THIS SERIES~!!!!!  I finished Finding Willow and jumped right into this fun and quick read.  The novel basically gives you a completed HEA for Star and Chrome plus Seven and Levi.  We have "missed" some action and so the reader gets to see a MARRIED Seven James!!  WHAT you say!!  YES MARRIED people to Levi, the man of her dreams.  This novel also lets us see a future for River.  He is such an amazing character so I loved seeing him have some "fun' in the story.  I actually would love to see more from him and his lady love.   Scarlett and Maggie are stoked about their family and hanging together.  

Basically If you loved Hers and Finding Willow you cannot miss this book.  It was a fast book but i was cracking up alot...Seven's milk coming in...PRICELESS SCENE!!!   Star and Chrome's special gift exchange at the end of the book had me teary BUT THE BEST SCENE WAS River and his "lady" getting interrupted by Seven and Star.  GREAT CLASSIC scene!!!  In conclusion (snickers) I love this book and everything that happens.  I loved Seven relaxing a bit and Levi taking a bit of control.  I loved Chrome being uber alpha male for him girl and Star becoming Martha Stewart!!!

I am in LOVE!!! Let me repeat this...I am in LOVE!!!! I am a huge Paranormal Vamp lover and this series is everything I want/need. The guys are alpha in a bug way. The girls are feisty. The bad guys are bad. The plot twists are TWISTED. 

I met Jared in Damons book and instant *Swooning* happened. Don;t get me wrong i loved Damon but something about cocky, arrogant, flirty, teasing, all around good guy Jared made my hear kinda beat a but faster.

So this book starts with Jared questioning a bad guy from book 1. When outta nowhere a fiery redhead and her brother break into the WARRIOR COMPOUND, tie him up and take his prisoner. Jared is instantly attracted to the girl. They track her and her HALF-BREED bother down...yes people this is a new development for the Warriors that someone is MAKING half breeds.....and take back the prisoner. Well the half-breeds and the Warrios begin to work together. Jared finds himself watching the redhead because she gives him back all the crap and attitude he throw at everyone else and he LIKES IT!!! The couple begin to admit their feelings and fears over being in a relationship because he has NEVER been in one and she has had nothing but terrible ones. I loved how open Jared was and how he would accept her challenging him. Her challenges often opened his eyes to so situations that were so new to him....like feeding from an ex-bootie call...not a good decision Jared.......

If you enjoyed the first book of the series , I gotta tell you this one is way better. The plot was thick and does an awesome job setting up for book 3. I am totally downloading it right this second to get it started. The bad guy was kinda shocker especially since you dont see it coming. The good guys are having some major betrayal and it is seriously undermining their abilities to work with the human police and instill faith in the human population.

Anyway, I loved this book and am sooo excited that I met this author. I just cant stop grinning about these books!!!! AMAZING!!!!

I purchased this book because it sounded great and let’s face it the picture that was on Twinsietalk of the guy letting us know the book was LIVE didn’t hurt any.  This was my first experience reading a book by Brenda Rothert and I loved it!

We are first introduced to Kate who is pregnant and her boyfriend has decided to take the low road and left because of it.  She is just beginning to accepting the pregnancy when tragedy strikes.  After graduating collage her mom convinces her to seek group counseling to help with her depression. 

We get to meet the HOT Hockey player, Ryke, who also suffered his own tragedy and is attending the group counseling meetings.  Ryke is drawn to Kate and offers her a job to spend more time with her.  I loved their group therapy meetings the way they would tell each other how they were feeling and the others had no idea they were talking about one another.   I loved watching these two grow together and figure each other out.  I loved how patient and understanding Ryke is with Kate, most guys would have tossed in the towel and took off but not Ryke.  I also enjoyed seeing Ryke and his team mate, Luke, interacting.  I’m not one for sports but man I could get into Hockey if Ryke and Luke were the ones I was watching. 

I have to say I had to grab the box of tissues a few times while reading this book and you should have them handy for the first chapter.  This is a great read it kept my interest and I could not put it down.  This was one of those Ok I’ll stop reading and go to sleep when I get to the end of the page, wait the end of this chapter, oh no I need to read the next chapter.  You know what I’m talking about we’ve all experience this at some point.  I knew it was bad when my husband rolled over at one in the morning and said “Really, still reading we have to get up in 4 hours go to sleep!”  I just had to finish. 

Here are a few of my favorite quotes (I just realized they are mostly Ryke quotes):

“Sometimes even though you can’t see someone, they’re always with you.”

“This is the prize I want,” he said, “Let me spend tonight with your heart instead of your head.”

“Can’t you just trust me? Let me hold you up when you hurt. Whatever I am, I want to share it with you.”

“Do you trust me?” he asked, his tone warm and – God help me – sexy. He could read from a cookbook right now and turn me on.

I met this awesome author at the IRC book convention in October.  I was super stoked when she reached out after the convention and asked me to review this book.  My Co-Founder and I are HUGE Paranormal readers.  We are vamp girls for sure!!  Well I got so busy with life that this book kinda sat on my bookshelf for a few weeks.  When I finally was able to muddle out of the craziness, I couldn't put this book down!!!  I loved the worlds that Teresa has built.   I opened this book and had it read in one day!!!  Seriously!!  her vamps are hot, caring and dangerous...perfect mix if you ask me...well since you are reading my review you must wanna know right???

Ok so this book is about Nicole who is a social worker.  The world knows that vamps exists.  There are bad vamps and humans who use the blood of young children.  So her job is to make sure that BOTH races of children are protected.  Well, they government has teamed up with the Vampire Council and sent a few Warriors to help train the pathetic humans.  The minute Nicole walks in the room she sees Damon and he sees her.  The chemistry is amazing.  Their "side kicks" (Jared and Pam) make for great comedy and as good sounding boards for the other when they are being stupid and stubborn about their feelings for one another.  So Nicole and Damon try being "friends with benefits" but both knowing it is going to destroy them when its over.  Nicole wants MORE and Damon wants nothing to do with MORE..typical male!!!  

Well Nicole soons finds out that the bad people are kiiinnndda not happy with her because she keeps saving all the kids they are draining.  So a plot ensues to take her out.  Damon does his typical brooding alpha male nonsense and tries to push Nicole away even when she bares her heart to him.  

I will say that at one point I had tears when Nicole bares her soul and Damon walks away...JACKASS!!!  I loved the book and was pretty excited about how everything ends up and the final scene was pretty amusing!!

This was the first Ann Lister book I have read.   Take note this is a M/M romance.  I enjoyed reading this love story about Dagger the famous rock star and Ryan the Music Magazine Reporter who could not be more different. 

Dagger is the typical rock star. He is sexy and can have any girl anytime.  However, Dagger leads a secret life that only his close personal friends know about.  That is until Ryan Pierce comes to interview him for an article in Music Spin Magazine.  Ryan walks in on Dagger with a man.  Dagger is furious but as soon as he sees Ryan and forgets about being angry.  However, this attraction is a one way street because Ryan is not into Men…or is he? 

Dagger and Ryan begin their relationship as friends.  Talking with Dagger and spending time with him makes Ryan take a good look at who he is.  Ryan knows he is straight always has been but is confused as to why he is thinking and dreaming of Dagger like he does.  Ryan has an amazing ex-girlfriend, Beth, that he talks to and helps him threw things.  I think it is funny that after Ryan meets Dagger he gets hit on by his co-worker, Sebastian, and Zander Metcalf, another rock star and friend of Daggers, which throws Ryan.

  

This is a wonderful love story that has ups, down, dark times, good times, and secrets.  I love the side friendships between Ryan and Beth and then Dagger and Zander.  I loved how Ryan and Dagger started their relationship as a friendship and how patient Dagger was at letting Ryan figure things out well with a little nudge here and there.  I did have some teary eyed moments when things weren’t the best for the two of them.  However, I liked how well Ryan handled Dagger’s situation at the end.  What to know what it was about and how he handled it?  Well you're going to have to read the book to find out.  

I enjoyed this rocker book and the love story that went with it.  I’m going to jump right into Take What You Want and read about the yummy Zander.

I really liked this story of three souls colliding together when they had no idea three really could be better than two.  The is the second book in The Rock God series and is about Zander (Alex) who we were introduced to in Fall for Me.  I instantly liked this guy. 

Let me introduce you to Zander (Alex), a rock star, trying to get away from everything after everything that went down with Ryan and Dagger and being “outed” for being bi-sexual when he left for Martha’s Vineyard.  Then there is Danni and Chase who engaged and living a great life, or so Danni thinks.

Danni realizes that Chase may have bisexual feelings when she surprises him by coming home early one day.   When Danni leaves town for classes, Alex rents the main house of the estate that Chase takes care of and where he and Danni lives.  Alex is attracted to Chase and Chase to Alex, but neither will act on this attraction because of Danni.  I love that Chase is so open and honest with Danni and tells her about his curiosity about Alex and that Chase and Alex would not do anything until they had the approval from Danni. 

Things are going great between Alex and Chase and then Danni comes back. I loved that we get to see Dagger and Ryan again and we get to meet the band members of Ivory Tower.  I cannot wait for the next book.

Ann Lister is a native New Englander currently living on the island of Martha's Vineyard with her husband. She has pulled details from her years living in the New England area and uses many local settings and landmarks in her novels.

After graduating art school and raising two daughters, she established her own video production company. Her nearly two decades working in video production included work within the music industry and won her a coveted Telly Award. It was this 'behind-the-scenes' exposure to the music world that inspired many of her novels.

In 2013 she released Book One of her new rock star series: The Rock Gods. Book One is titled, Fall For Me. This novel is her first full-length gay, erotic romance and it is also a Finalist novel for the 2013 Rainbow Award.

Book Two in the Rock Gods series is titled, Take What You Want. This story is a m/m/f menage and released in early November 2013. Book Three, titled: Make You Mine, is expected to release in Spring of 2014.

When not writing, she enjoys reading, creating stained glass, and traveling.
