year in review 2013 - Twinsie Melinda

Wow hard to believe 2013 has come and gone. Now I have to narrow down some of the best books I have reviewed. I was nervous when Angie J. asked me to be a part of Twinsie Talk in August. Everyone has made me feel so welcome here. Angie and I (or as we say Partners in Crime) have been to so many book signings this year.
We started the year off by traveling to Nashville, TN where we hung out with Tara Sivec, Jasinda Wilder, and Katie Ashley. This started our tradition of me reading to Angie while she drove...I can not tell you how awkward it was reading some scenes out loud and yes, I do believe I was blushing at times. I was able to see Twinsie Angie Ellis in person for the first time also.
Our next road trip was an impromptu trip to Romantic Times in Missouri. This was a crazy drive while reading to Angie she said "this sucks" I'm thinking is my reading really that bad. I look up and no she is not talking about my reading, it is snowing and can I remind you it is May. I was able to see so many authors at this and Kally's signing this weekend. I was in Awww I tell you. Hanging out with Twinsie Jo-Anna was a big highlight. Angie and I ate lunch while Lauren Stewart sat and talk with us. We saw Jeaniene Frost in the hallway and asked to take a picture. I was so fan struck she looked at me and said "she looks at me like who the hell is this" as I stuttered to get out I love your books and Bones too all the while the camera gets tossed into my hand and I take the group picture of everyone with her. Yes, that means I did NOT get in the picture all because I was freaking out over seeing her. Lesson learned DO NOT take the camera make sure you are the one standing next to the Author next time. I was also introduced to Leia Shaw, Sorcha Black, and Cherry Adair. Then we were off to Kallypso's Signing were we saw Kally, Alannah Lynne, Heather Rainier, B.A Tortuga, Julia Talob, and Chrissy Szarek. We even got to have dinner with Kally and other fans.
Our third road trip of the year was back to TN for Romfest. We had a blast with Melanie Codina. We decided to do some site seeing on a beautiful day when the sky decided to open up and pour buckets of water on us. The best part of this was watching Melanie's reaction to the rain it was priceless. Angie and I went all out on this trip, dressed up as grapes, decorated High Tea hats, even put on our best western outfits. We were able to meet some great Authors but the highlight was meeting Sandy Sullivan.
Our final road trip of the year took us to back to TN once again to Indie RomCon. I have to say I was looking forward to this one because I was going to meet Red Phoenix and this was my first convention as an official Twinsietalk girl. We got to go to some interesting seminars and demonstrations. Was able to see Kally again, Angie and I meet some great new authors and even some fans of Twinsietalk.

Thanks to all these book signings my signed book collection went from eight in March to Ninety-Seven in December. Now I need to get a new book shelf to hold all the books.

“No,” I scream, shoving him so hard he takes two steps back. “I won’t listen to you. All you’re going to do is make me feel incomplete. Do you know that you can do that? About the Author

Bella Jewel is an Aussie girl through and through. She spent her life in Western Australia, growing up in many different areas of the state. She now currently lives in Perth with her husband, children and mass amounts of pets. She's crazy, fun, outgoing and friendly. Writing is her passion, she started at the young age of 18 but finally got the courage up to publish, and her first novel Hell's Knights was released in August 2013.

His body is flush against mine, and I can feel every, hard bit of him. He kisses me until we’re in a frenzy, just the way fucking should be. He kisses me until I’m clinging to him, tugging at his jeans. He kisses me until my shirt is in shreds on the floor, and he’s spreading my legs, both of us desperate and panting.

I received this book for an honest review.

I must first say that this book was prolly my favorite in the series. I don't know what it about Serenity and Jackson's love story but it really got to me the most. I dare say I even have some tears in my eyes during the story when the major plot drama happened. Now if you read the other books you know that Addie and Cade goes through a shit ton of drama and bad guy drama to get their HEA. Then we meet Spike and Ciera and wow was that mege messed up drama but Serenity and Jackson.....it just made my heart hurt but then happy.

Soooo i am going to guess that if you are reading this review you have read Spike's book to know why Jack's club is at war with Hogan's club...growl bad bad bad bad guy that Hogan is.......Serenity was thrown to the "wolves" aka Jack's club by her dear old dad aka Hogan. She was told to get information on Jack's club so Hogan can kill them all. Well Serenity goes to this club expecting the same horrors she has at her dad's club but GASP these bikers are sweet and worship the ground their old ladies walk on...sooo opposite of dear daddy's club.

So I am guessing you kinda figured out the Serenity and Jackson form some feelings....more like Electric bomb on sexual tension...but we will just say feelings!!! LOL Serenity and Jackson are falling hard and fast for each other but then 2 big bombs are dropped on Serenity. Now I am gonna be a bit of a tease and not tell you WHAT happens but the last 30% of the book is pretty intense and i coudnt stop reading until I finished!!!

If you liked the other books in the series and or you like hot alpha male bikers...this is a great series for you. I cannot wait for Muff's Christmas novella. I fell in total love with him this book. I got alot of great laughs outta him in book 2 but in this book he really shined!!!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

I have to say I loved this book the best out of all of them. Shocker I know, I was too..I mean he is the “OLD” guy of the bunch and Addison’s Dad for goodness sakes. But wowzers he is HOT and Serenity complemented him so well. To be honest the age difference wasn’t ever an issue. OK back to the review that I am giving 5 stars to by the way.

I’m going to back up a little and go back to the ending of Heaven’s Sinners where we meet Serenity. She stumbles in to Hell’s Knights beaten and they take her in. She stays with Addison and realizes that not all MC clubs are all pigs. Serenity and Jackson have feeling for one another but Jackson has issues with the age difference and avoids Serenity. However, there is no stopping what they have between them not matter how hard they try to avoid it. Serenity is torn between doing the wrong thing and keep her old friends safe or doing the right thing and keeping her new friends and Jackson safe. It broke my heart the way Serenity was treated when all hell broke loose and wanted to jump in the book to punch all the Guys for Serenity. There was so much going on in the last half of this book I don’t want to give anything away but I was holding my breath at times and found myself tearing up at other times.

I have to say I loved Muff and the dynamic between him, Jackson, and Serenity. I cannot wait tell December for Muff’s story. It was wonderful to see Addison, Cade, Ciara, and Spike. I also liked that we get to see the birth of Spike of Ciara’s baby. Everyone who knows me knows I love a great Epilogue and this one was good. Bella Jewel did an outstanding job she pulled me into this book from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down.
