I am going to be meeting the author at a convention and decided to check out her book.  Wow am I glad I did because this was a great read.   Three hot guys and one tough chick to keep them on their toes what’s not to like right? 

Dana and Nathan were in love and wanted to be together but Lycan law stated that Lycan females had to be shared with two or more males.  Welllll Dana was having no part of that and thought Nathan and her saw eye to eye on that.  When she realized that Nathan was going to abide by the law she felt she only had one option and that was to RUN.  She was able to survive for 12 years on her own until she was caught buy some rouges and she thought she didn’t have a way out.  Next thing she new Nathan was standing there saving her. 

Nathan had caught her and was not going to let her go.  He saw that his best friend, John, and pack buddy, Kody, wolves were drawn to her also.  Saying Nathan had a big case of the jealousies would be an understatement.  When she awoke Nathan threw his big ALPHA self out there stating she was his and his alone.  Well of course being the take no crap from anyone Dana is made the announcement she wanted to be mated to not only Nathan but John and Kody also.  I know shocker was unanimous for all involved even this reader.   

Don’t want to give anything else away so I will end it there.  However, I like that the guys took things slow and let Dana decide what was what.  I like that each guy was different and offered different things for Dana; John is her rock, Kody the fun pup, and Nathan the Alpha her protector.  My favorite was Dana and her sassy take no crap attitude because I love when a woman keeps a man on his toes let alone three men.  If you want to find out what happens to the rouges that took Dana or how things end up in the end you will have to pick up a copy and find out for yourself.  Happy readings.

I'm a new self-published author who just got introduced to the writing world early 2013. My aunt suggested that I write a story because I'm an avid reader but I waved it off and left it alone. Well this year, a story came to me and I went with it. It took me a little bit but I finally got a story idea that worked and now I can't stop or control the characters/stories that keep popping up in my head.

I'm born and raised in Canada and I live with my very wonderful and supportive husband, Michael. We don't have any children (yet) unless you count our two cats. He's been my rock through this whole new experience for me. I couldn't have done it without him and my friends and family.

Two years had passed since Sebastian Chelios had died. Two years since being told that Jose Alvarez was still out there. And two years since I was told I was pregnant.

Pregnant with Sebastian’s baby.

God, who knew that that would happen?

A result of my forgetfulness of taking the pill. But it was well worth it when I looked into the eyes of my baby. Sebastian’s baby. Our child.

I tried to forget. But the calendar on the wall beckoned like a tease, and my eyes darted to the dreaded numbers. My mind went back to those horrible couple of days.

It was like a bad horror movie in my mind. Jose kidnapping me. Sebastian showing up. Us both shot. The blur of the hospital. My lover. Dead. Doctors and nurses in my face. Then news of the pregnancy. My head whirled when I got sucked into my thoughts. Real, as if it was yesterday. Realizing I would have to raise a child on my own.

But now…every day I looked at Antonio and ached. His eyes had slipped from blue to brown, and he reminded me so much of Sebastian.

Fresh tears filled my eyes but I shook them off. I headed to the front door and made sure it was locked. I looked out the window and noticed a big black car a couple of houses away. Relief fluttered through me. The Feds were watching. Protecting me and my son from Jose.

A scream came through the baby monitor on my counter.

I ran up the stairs in my small two bedroom house and headed right to my baby’s room. After throwing the door open, I stood there, panting, gripping my chest as my heart raced against my rib cage.

My son lay there, looking up at me from his crib, a big smile on his beautiful chubby face.

I sucked in a breath and tried to ease the thumping in my ears. “Hi, baby. You sure like giving your mama a heart attack, don’t you?”

He giggled. Yup, definitely Sebastian’s kid.

Wow!!  I was so excited to be invited to the tour for a Nicole Edwards book!!  I've loved every book that I've read!!!  But this book we were "warned" that it wasn't a typical Nicole Edwards book.  Hmmm, I said, but it's Nicole Edwards, how could it be anything but FANTABULOUS!?!?  So, I started it, with a little voice in the back of my head saying WHY IS THIS DIFFERENT?  Well I was SOOOOO NOT DISAPPOINTED!!!  I don't think we needed the "warning" at all!  Maybe a warning that the story was "highly addictive".  That is what it was....HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!  I totally had a crush on Cooper Krenshaw!!!  I guess you could say I was COOPER CRUSHING!!!  LOL

 

 

I am sooo swooning over Cooper Krenshaw! ok, there was a few chapters that I wanted to poke him! but hey, he is a man, after all!! I loved this story. No, it's not a typical Nicole Edwards book....BUT that doesn't mean that it's not HOT!! Holy crap!!! some of those kisses had me melting!! I believe I even blushed once.... or twice!! This was a great love story about finding your true love and chasing your dreams! Cooper, the hot country music singer, moves to Texas to get away from the craziness of his life. Little does he know he will meet his "angel in blue jeans"...... awwwww I sooo want to hear this song!!! I want to hear his voice!!! Although I think I found his voice in Sam Grow. No, he's not in the book, but he could very well play the part of Cooper Krenshaw!! go check him out if you've read this book! I think you'll agree! NO, he's not paying me to say this! OK - go get this book. I don't want to give anything away!

 

I hate spoilers so it's sometimes a challenge to write a review without spoilers!  I will just say that there is chemistry, drama, miscommunication, hot kisses, more drama, tears, hot kisses - hot sex - hot kisses, oh and sweetness!!  This man can be soooo sweet!!Every time Cooper called Tessa "darlin'"  I melted!    I am glad that this is going to be a series, because I do believe that Dalton deserves to have a story.....gotta know how his first time meeting Katie went!!!

OH AND BEFORE I GO..... that epilogue...............AMAZING!!! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!  I think I cried (tears of joy!) thru the whole damn thing!!!  OMG!!!  ok...I'm done.  go buy it and come back and thank me!!  It's worth it!!

Ok, I've been asked to provide a little bit of "real" information about myself. That's harder to do than you think it is, especially for someone who has difficulty talking about themselves. ;) But, here goes...

I've been writing for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was a kid, I loved creative writing and as I got older, I got acquainted with those voices in my head and that led to putting my stories on paper. And now, here I am all these years later, spending my days doing what I love most. I decided to give myself over to writing full time in 2012 and I haven't looked back. I spent nearly 13 years in the corporate world and I have to say, this is a bit of a change (just a little) and I am loving every second of it.

I live in Texas with my husband and three amazing kids and our four beloved dogs. If I'm not writing, I'm usually reading. I devour everything I can get my hands on. I love romance of any type and being an Indie author myself, I'm always looking for new Indies to support. I haven't always been into reading, but about eleven years ago, I picked up a book - I'm pretty sure it was by Nora Roberts - and from there, I haven't stopped. Before I began writing full time, and my characters started taking up so much of my time, I was reading about 200 books a year. That has dwindled somewhat, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't read.

An interesting fact... I don't watch television - aside from the occasional news anyway. I will go see a movie or two rarely, but for the most part, I get all of my entertainment from a book. Some of my favorite authors include J.R. Ward, Suzanne Brockmann, Lora Leigh, Jane Rylon, Lori Foster, and Jaci Burton just to name a few.

The Indie Romance Convention Recapping

Hello pep's!!  Well Angie J and Melinda had a rocking great time at the IRC last weekend.  We made some new friends and connected with old friends PLUS goto meet an author we both LUUUURVE!!!  So as you can imagine the weekend was a blast!!!

We arrived Friday and kinda chilled out for a bit.  Before we registered to met our friend and aspiring author Ashley Morgan.   (her author page)

 We all hung out and went to a BDSM Demo.  It was super fun.  Before the demo started Kallypso got us to work hanging out goodie baskets.  We even had a bit of an "AWWWW" moment when some girls told us they were Twinsie Fans.....we totallly squee'd!!!!

   However we did manage to sneak in a few snap shots with our authors.  When Red Phoenix came in Melinda and I went kinda fan girlie.  We were super excited to see her!!  We MAY have even SQUEEEEd a few times......

So the BDSM demo was a lot of fun but no pictures from that ...sorry folks. 

We did love going through our good bag and playing with our Red inspired masks!!

The next day was alll serious time (snickers right!!)  We hit a few workshops and then got to set up for our Vendors booth but Lunch with Red Phoenix was a blast!!

While there Angie J got to meet one of her new favorite authors.  Michelle Lynn (her author page) and she brought me an autographed copy of Love Me Back...super amazing book that made me snot sob alot!!!  We also got to meet an author Melissa Rolka (her author page) who JUST published her very first novel!!! 

 

The book signing was alot of fun.  We got to meet some fun new authors and some of our favorites again!!

I got sent this book for an honest review so here it goes:

I am a huge fan of Ella's story! And I totally have a crush on Master. As each story is read, it gets hotter and hotter. Props to Steffie for that!

In this next installment, we continue on Ella and Master's journey at bonding, finding out what makes the other tick and seeing their love grow.

The knife play? Holy balls batman that was hot and intense. Makes me very intrigued at how it would feel. It was written very well. I felt like I was there. I could see everything that was taking place and I love when a story does that.

And when Ella gets a tattoo? All I can say without giving away any spoilers, it that I want a tattoo like that.

Also, I think this next installment has one of the best threesome scene's I have ever read. It was hotter than hot! So hot, that I couldn't stop thinking about it all day and that's very distracting when you're at work. Lol! I won't say what part of the book it's in or who it's between but wow. *fans self*

I heard that the next part is the last one and although I'm sad to see this story over, I'm excited to see Ella get the happiness that she deserves.
