Book Blurb:
Nick Gautier’s day just
keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks,
only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters
and demons out to claim his soul.
His new principal thinks he’s
even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit
him to things he can’t even mention and the girl he’s not seeing, but
is, has secrets that terrify him.
But
more than that, he’s being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he
doesn’t learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will
become one of them..
Jo-Anna's Review:
I'd have to say as far as YA
series go, this is probably one of my favorite for
paranormal/supernatural type stuff. I just absolutely love Nick in the
Dark Hunter series and to learn about him when he was a kid is even
extra fabulous. I'm looking forward to reading about how things turn out
cause for any of you that have read the DH books, you know some things
happen to make life difficult for Nick. My prediction is that he's going
to try and change certain events. Can't wait to see what those changes
bring. Sherrilyn always has a way of keeping me on my toes with her
books. :)

Infinity: Chronicles of Nick by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Book Blurb
At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything
about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick
sarcasm is the stuff of legends. . .until the night when his best
friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more
fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the
Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save
humanity.
Nick quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead.
But before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students are turning into flesh eating zombies. And he’s next on the menu.
As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . .now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?
Jo-Anna's Review
For YA books, this is probably one of my favorites. I love Nick's sarcasm and his sense of humor. I also love learning about the characters from the beginning, before the Dark Hunter series. I enjoyed getting to know them when they're younger. This is a great opener for what I know will be an amazing and adventurous series!!! Can't wait to read the rest of the books!

Time Untime by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Book Blurb:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Sherrilyn Kenyon comes the
next thrilling installment in her blockbuster Dark-Hunter series
The Mayans aren’t the only ones with a 2012 prophecy…
Long before recorded history, there was a Keetoowah warrior so feared that everyone trembled before his wrath. Only a brutal betrayal by the one closest to him could defeat him. But not even death was the end of a man so strong.
The Time Untime approaches…
Kateri Avani has been plagued her entire life with dreams she doesn’t understand. Images of places she’s never been and of a man she’s never seen. Her quest for answers has driven her to Las Vegas where she hopes to finally silence the demons in her mind.
What she never anticipates is coming face to face with the warrior who has haunted her her entire life. One who belongs to a world the scientist in her refuses to believe is real.
Ren Waya came back from the dead to keep the prophecy he began from coming true and ending the world. For thousands of years, he has fought the same evil that once possessed him. But now that evil has found the one person he can’t fight. The one person who, against his will, holds the most sacred part of him.
His heart.
But if he doesn’t kill Kateri, the deadliest of evils will reemerge and destroy everyone else on the planet. It was a sacrifice he made once.
Will he be able to make it again?

Jo's Review:
So it's 1124pm and I just finished Time Untime by Sherrilyn Kenyon which is the 17th book to her Dark Hunter, Were Hunter and Dream Hunter series. My friend bought it for me for my birthday so I'm glad I finally finished it. It was amazing!! Probably my second favorite book in the series!! I loved that you saw other characters besides Ren and Kateri. Oh and Acheron and Nick?? Swoooooon!! Lol! Anyways. So I don't know what to say other then that it's a must read! I'm still learning how to write a review if you haven't noticed. I loved the action in the book and the love story. I loved that Ren wasn't perfect (speech impediment). I had to force myself to read the book slowly. It was hard to do at times. But definitely read it, especially if you've read the other books!!
