RELEASE DAY-Giving you Forever by Ashley Wilcox

Giving You Forever (The Forever Series, #4)

Book Blurb:
From the moment Nolan Pratt walked into Alexa Arnold’s life everything was forever changed. After a year of dating, the ring was on her finger, the house was purchased, and life was heading down Pleasantville Lane. Everything was perfect.

Or so they thought.

With help from his parent’s inheritance, Nolan takes on a new business adventure, utilizing all his free time. What was once their life- carefree with minimal responsibilities, is no more. When Alexa starts to feel the pressure from school, wedding planning, and lack of help from Nolan, exhaustion kicks in and feelings get hurt, testing the strength of their relationship. But, if there is one thing that Nolan will never compromise, it’s Alexa’s happiness. There’s nothing Nolan Pratt won’t do to make sure Alexa is well taken care of, loved, and happy.

When Nolan’s past resurfaces- a past that Alexa didn’t know existed- will it all be too much? Will Nolan’s devotion to Alexa’s happiness cost him their relationship and lose him the only thing that has ever mattered in his life? Or will Nolan discover that his past doesn’t determine his future and he is worth the happiness he doesn’t think he deserves?

Angie J's Review:

I was given this book as an ARC for a truthful review.

Ok so this book was the 4th book in a series.  I was kinda nervous about it because I didn't read the other 3 books in the series.  I will say, I don't feel like I missed out on anything.  The author did a great job touching back to readers like me and quickly explaining what was up.  I will say I will defo be looking into making time to read the first 3 books.  This was really a great story.

So before I begin my review I will say you need a couple of things ....1...lots and lots of ice water because DAYUM the sex scenes were HOT!!!  2.   Make sure you have the air conditioner on and set very kow to coooool ya off.  3. Make sure you have a date/lover/significant other around for when the book is done!!!  *Snickers*  Trust me on this one!!!

Ok the review.....*clears throat*....holy moly was this a great read.  Alexa and Nolan have an amazing relationship.  They are both very needy but in a good way...like not annoying but need to spend time with the other.  Nolan is like DREAM BOYFRIEND!!  he is always calling Alexa his princess and doing everything to make her happy.  Alexa is stunned that Nolan would want to be with her even 3 years into their relationship.  She is so happy to spend time with him and plan their dream wedding.  The relationship is a very physical one but they do a good job communicating needs with each other.

The drama happens when Alexa hires a wedding planning...you gget the feeling that she is someone from Nolans past based on her reaction to his name when Alexa brings it up.  *insert ominous music*   When Nolan sees her and tells Alexa about his past with the woman...my heart broke for him.  I dont want to give it away but *sigh* it was defo not what I expected and it made me look at him with even dreamier eyes.

Drama #2 is when the first drama and another issue with Alexa happens.  Nolan feels he is a bay choice and basically cursed.  He abandons Alexa.  Well I must admit at this point in the book, I kinda figured Alexa would go all weepy....NOPE WRONG!!  She basically goes crazy and tracks him down.....

I loved the ending of the book...alot of resolution happens and the epilogue was great.  I loved the HEA for Nolan and Alexa!!!

About the author:

Some may consider me a jack of all trades, but I consider myself well rounded. I've waitressed, styled hair, answered phones and, most recently, worked full time as mom to my two beautiful little boys.
Then there was this book...
Everyone and their brother started talking about this book series titled Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. I didn't really pay attention to the craze at first, since I wasn't a big reader- okay, I didn't read at all. But curiosity got the best of me, so I downloaded it to my kindle.
I was immediately hooked. I read the whole series in three days. Yes, three books in three days.
I kept finding all these great books that I HAD to read (just ask my credit card!).
Then I started hearing voices. Voices that turned into stories; stories that were begging to get out of my head.I started writing them down on scraps of paper. Then I transferred them to my computer. Before I knew it, Planning on Forever was born.
The voices in my head are still talking, so I'm still writing.
