I received this book from the author for an honest review.
I give it a 3.5 rating.

I love Paranormal and erotica and this book hits both...yeah ME!!  This books is about Loretta who is in desperate need to be loved.  She seems to stumble in to any willing mans bed but all the while thinking about Cray...her gargoyle protector.  CRAY....CRAY....CRAY!!!  He tried to hide his feelings and not admit his love/lust for Loretta.  Lust is what got him in trouble and made into a gargoyle. 

The book has 3 parts to it...Loretta and Cray having a finally intimate time.  Loretta getting kidnapped and Loretta saving Cray.  i have to say for a short novella the book was action packed and a quick read.  I actually wish the story would have been longer...which is why i gave it a 3.,5 rating.  I think there was alot more we could have read/learned about with the characters.  I did love the story and can't wait to finish the other stories in the series.

I received this book fro the author for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book and certainly didn't see the ending at allllll.  The book let you catch up with Loretta and Cray's child Celeste.  She is a human with wings.  She is also known as the "Ice Princess" because she hates contact with others.  She however is in lust with playboy Pascal.  The book starts with the 2 of them at a party and giving in into their lust and desire for each other.  When Celeste agrees to dinner we meet Pascal's daddy's buddy Lewis who is not a good guy.  The books certainly changes direction between Pascal and Celeste when Lewie and Pascals dad try to keep Celeste because they know what she is.  They are aware of her secrets.  Well thankfully Pascal comes to the rescue and the 2 go on the run.....the end has a great twist !!

If you haven't read any of Mel's books i must warn you...the sex scenes are hot hot hot.....I mean like soaked through your panties hot.  The girl knows what to write and what to do to make you say "DAMN!"

I got this book from the author for an honest review.

This book is a great way to end the series (I don't know if that is the case but if so everything is tied up nice and neatly).  However, there is also more that could be done with the series if the author should choose too.

This book was kinda of emotional.  Zee is Pascal's mother from book 2.  She finally tells us, the reader, why she left Saul and Pascal.  She is told by her Gargoyle pack leader/lover Steele to go and be with Saul until he dies.  When he is out of her system she can return to the pack and her son.  Yes it seems Pascal has found his mother and her pack.  She is sad to leave her son AGAIN without seeing him but very happy to return to Saul.

When she returns he is very happy and does he ever show it...in every way he can.  The two make up for lost time and profess their love all the while Saul fears she will leave again.  The ending of the story is a nice plot twist and I did end up feeling a bit sad for Steele but happy for HEA Zee finally receives.

Ok, again. Red Phoenix is amazing! I have 3 favorite serial writers for the BDSM genre and Red is definitely one of them!

 

Sir takes Brie on a trip to Russia where they meet my favorite Russian Dom once again, Rystar. Holy balls batman. Rystar...*swoon*

 

Sir and Rystar both take Brie to new heights as they challenger her inner darker desires and let me tell you, those challenges are freaking hot!

 

AND again, I just love Sir. As we read each installment, we learn more and more about him and he's just amazing.

I like to read alllll lengths of novels. I love the quick read some days. This was a great quick read. I love the idea of going back and finding the one who broke your heart.....Finding your one true love.

Syndie and TJ were best friends and then they were Boyfriend/Girlfriend. Well, TJ, being a horny teenager, dumps Syndie for some "lady loving" with girls who will put out. Guess what? TJ kinda feels bad when Syndie wont talk to him and runs away when she graduates High School. He has regretted his actions ever since. Needless to say, when she returns to take care of her ailing father, TJ declares a war on her heart. He tells her he WILL be with her after apologizing for past behavior. Well Syndie doesn't know what to do or think. She still loves TJ and wants to believe they could be together but still love each other after 15 years??? Is that EVEN possible? This was a sweet and short novel. The HEA at the end is great and priceless. I loved the fact that Syndie's dad is who tells her to go after her "Forever Love" like he had with her mom. It is a sweet moment.

I have to say I really enjoy a quick book some days.  When I have a busy day but still want to get some reading done, I look to a short story.  I have to say I have loved all 3 books from this author in this series.  The books were great, short reads but full of family, emotion and fun.

This book is part of her "Wilder Sisters" series.  I love reading about the sisters finding and falling in love with whoever it is that claims there heart.  In this book Sister Stacey goes on vacation and meets her condo vacation neighbor Mandy.  Well sparks FLY fro the first hand shake so I knew it would be awesome.

Stacey and Mandy have a fun summer fling but slowly fall in love with one another.  When Stacey's ex shows up to say she is still in love....Mandy has to face her own feelings for her summer fling.

This books is a very very quick red but full of hope and love for any HEA reader to enjoy!!!

Wow what a great holiday book. This story was very heart warming. I loved seeing the author use the theme of hope along with faith and family in the story.  I know IF I went through what Sherri did with being pregnant and looking at losing the love of my life, I don't think I would have been that strong.  I understood her anger and God for what was going on.  Christmas was a special time for Sherri and Adam.  I loved the side plot of the Father.  It was a definite  Miracle on 34th Street moment.

I can't really discuss the plot because I wont do it justice.  All I know is I do believe in angels after the passing of my mom last year.  So reading something that I believe made my heart warm and fuzzy!!

WOWSA…. I’m still mind blown by this book. I literally just finished it and I’m RACING to put my thoughts down. Cassia Leo has once again gave me EXACTLY what I need in a book. She gave me LOVE, EMOTION, ANGST, TURMOIL, TEARS, SADNESS, HAPPINES, SWEETNESS AND….. HOT SEX =) …. You can’t get any better than that. OH and when I’m left feeling as if I’m going to go into EARLY LABOR if I don’t read the next book like NOW…. That means this book is FREAKING AMAZING !

Claire had some HUGE decisions to make in this book. I have NO CLUE how she ever dealt with any of it. I was so exhausted reading her life. I felt as if I’d have lost it completely WAY EARLY ON. I do think she handled herself very well in this book. The decisions were hard yet I don’t think I could have done it any better.

“ Adam, I love you. I’ll wait six days or six years. Whatever it takes. Nothing, and no one else matters.” -Claire

 

Adam also had some HUGE decisions to make and while I wasn’t HAPPY with some of his I think in the end he made the right ones. I found myself falling soo much more in love with him. He is such the boy next door in that sweet protecting SEXY kinda way. His and Claire’s relationship has definitely been tested and I can’t wait to see the outcome.

Chris *SWOON* . So I wasn’t a fan of Chris’s in book 1 ( Relentless) but in this book he broke down those walls. I wanted to be Claire. I want him to fight for me. I wanted his love and affection. *sigh* Chris is still as determined as ever to win Claire back. I loved getting to know his character even more and shhhhhh don’t tell Adam.. But I’m kinda leaning a little more towards Team Chris…… SHHHHHHH

About the book. The story kept me constantly going. I love it. When I couldn’t read I was thinking about it. What would I have done if put in their places in certain situations ? How would I have handled that? I also really enjoyed how Cassia lets you get inside the mind of all 3 characters. You understand them more and it makes the book that much more interesting. I so enjoyed this book and I’m so excited for the next book.. I’m hoping Cassia will take mercy on me and give it too me soon…. =) A gal can hope cant she ? Morgan’s twin sister, Megan, was murdered by Ciaran McCade.  Morgan is on a mission to kill Ciaran.  She believes she finds Ciaran at a local pub in Scotland.  She allows him to take her back to his place where she ties him to his bed, has his way with him, and then stabs him in the heart with a silver dagger. Only to figure out that she has tried killed the wrong brother.  She runs leaving all the evidence behind.  Conall wakes still tied to the bed, dagger still in his chest, and his brother standing over him. 

Now that Ciaran knows Morgan is trying to kill him he is on a mission to take her out but not after taking what she willingly gave his brother.  All the while Conall is on a mission to claim Morgan and save her from his brother.  I loved Morgan’s strong will to think she could take out Ciaran on her own (silly girl) and Conall’s dominating nature to make Morgan his.

My two favorite lines in the book:   “My name is Morgan Keevy and I’ve come to kill you.” and “My name is Conall McCade and I was put here to love you.”

There's really nothing I can say about this book that I haven't said about the others. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! And I will continue loving these books. Red Phoenix is an incredible writer and I always look forward to reading her stuff. I just love Brie! She's by far one of my favorite heroines.

Red takes us on another journey as Brie continues to learn about the BDSM lifestyle. She learns more about herself, what she likes, doesn't like and more about Sir. 

Sir is just amazing as always and takes Brie to heights she never thought possible or that she never thought she would experience.

Sir ends up taking Brie back to the Training center where she meets old friends. Todd/Blue Eyes of course shows up. I do love him but as Brie's journey progresses, I'm finding that my love for him is diminishing. He has some issues. 

And Sir, again, LOVE him! He has some walls up that needs to be broken down but you can definitely see that he loves Brie and would do anything for her but...*sigh* By the end of the book...wow. Let's just say, I can't wait until the next one.
