Angie J's Review:
OMG what a great ending to the book is all I can say. I was left with giant crocodile tears in my eyes and saying "NOOOOO Channie!!!!!" I am soooo crazy to get my hands on book 3 I cant stand it.
This book was a little slower then the first book which is why I did 4/5 stars. I believe it is because it is building for the war that will be a huge part of book 3. I cant wait to find out about some of the left open stories....what is up with Daddy? Is Hunter ok? Are the trips alright? How is Diego? Will Channie find a way back to Josh??? Is Momma gonna stay insane or find her way back to herself? I just need to know and cant believe that I am dying over a YA Novel because I am the queen of "no thank you to YA books". *sigh* I just hope I dont have to wait long because I dont think I will be very patient. When I love a book it KILLS me to wait and this book will be a hard one to wait for....

A Needful Heart by J.M. Madden

A Needful HeartThis book has no introduction. It just jumps right in. Once I got into the book (which DID NOT take long) I was drawn to Matt IMMEDIATELY. He is so one of those TALL, HANDSOME, and MYSTERIOUS types of guys. I just wanted to know more about him. Why is he such a loner? What happened to him as a kid? HOW did he become so sweet and caring? Gina the female lead is an all around SWEETHEART, She is caring, kind, giving, and thoughtful. She’s every guys a dream. I found myself so involved emotionally with this book. I felt as if I was I was going through the emotions with Gina as she was trying to figure Matt out. He would ALWAYS surprise me with his kindhearted personality. The love story is beautiful, and the sex scenes were SPICY HOT. Anyone looking for a quick read this is DEFINITELY a great book to read.

Enchantment by Charlotte Abel

Enchantment (Channie, #1)

Book Blurb:
Sixteen year old Channie Kerns leads an idyllic life of seclusion and magic deep in the Ozark Mountains ... until her family is forced to flee for their lives.

They leave everything and everyone behind to start over in Louisville, Colorado. Magic is forbidden while they are in hiding, but Channie can't resist the temptation to enchant a group of local boys. When her overbearing parents catch her flirting with these "sex-crazed, non-magical delinquents," they slap a chastity spell on her to protect her virtue.

The spell is triggered by lust, so just navigating the halls at her new school is an ordeal. She can't even touch a boy she's attracted to without blasting him with a jolt of magical energy that feels like a taser.

When Channie falls in love with Josh Abrim, a BMX racer with dangerous secrets of his own, she rebels against her parents and turns to dark and forbidden magic to break the chastity spell ... with disastrous results.

Angie J Review:

Ok so those of you who know me know I dont read YA...I mean really YA??  So when the opportunity was given to me by a friend to try these books I figure "EH why not"???  I mean a free book from an author is cool right???  All I can say is THANK GOODNESS I DID!!!  I was stunned at how in love with the book I was.  I even purchased book 2 when I was around half way through the first book.
Ok why was it so good you ask?  I loved the plot.  It was so different and so refreshing.  I love PN and read the heck out of them so honestly that was why I said I would read....PN are my favorite books.  The love story was sweet and pure (hello her name was Chastity!) but it brought me back to high school with the butterflies and nervous energy and most of the the emotion of your first greast love.  I think Josh is amazingly sweet and man does he put up with alot from the love of his young life.
I have read alot of books and my tastes are all over the place but I can honestly tell you as soon as I get done with this review I will be opening book 2 up to find out what happens to Channie and Josh.  Book 1 ends on a good note but i still need more of this pure love story...gesh I can be sooo dang girlie at times:)
Honestly the book is 99 cents and book 2 is the same price.  If you are considering it, give it a try...its a $1 a book people.  I swear you wont regret it.

Wet Dreams by JM Madden

Wet Dream (1 Night Stand, #24)

Book Blurb:

Ex-FBI agent Ginger Hampton is not surprised when her date is a no show. Madame Evangeline, owner of 1NightStand promised her a perfect night…but Ginger is used to disappointment in love. The fact that she’s six feet tall, model perfect and owns her own high-end security firm tends to intimidate men. In spite of herself, she’d had high hopes for this date.

Madame Eve’s email had told him to watch for a woman in distress, and the woman at the bar is exactly that. Chief of Security Cameron Jones doesn’t see himself as a hero, but he’s willing to check on a special guest for his boss. He doesn’t realize until he sees her face that it’s Ginger Hampton, his own personal weak spot. She’s not turned off by his brutal scarring, and even flirts as if she’s interested. When he escorts her to her room, does he have the balls to respond to her interest, and stay the night? How can he say no to…his own personal wet dream?

Angie J's review:

I enjoyed this book alot.  I have read several of the 1 Night Stand books from another author and thought this was a great addition to the series.  I loved that both the characters had such normal insecurities.  I had major tummy flutters listening to Cameron tell all about his sad history after the war.  I liked him instantly but to hear of his heart break after his trama made me love him even more.  Ginger was a alpha female who was IMO looking to submit to a man.  Thankfully Cameron was that right man for the job.  I would have loved reading more about these two because their story just seemed to be starting when the book was over.  I think it is a great way for new readers to get a glimps into a writers style with the short novellas.  Give it a try.  I dont think you will be let down.

FUTURES AND FROSTING BY TARA SIVEC

Futures and Frosting by Tara Sivec I laughed, smiled, snorted, tinkled in my pants (just a little) and cryed. Tara once again had me ROLLING in the floor laughing. I get lost in the lives of Claire, Carter, Gavin, Liz, Jim, Drew, Jenny and now Sophia. This was a GREAT sequel to Seduction and Snacks. Thank you Tara, your writing is so unique it's like reading your BFF's diary..*snickers*

NOBODY'S PERFECT BY KALLYPSO MASTERS

Nobody's Perfect by Kallypso Masters I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would give 100 stars if possible. This is by far the BEST book of the series. Kally really went ALL OUT on this book and it was SOOOO worth the wait. This book hit home with me on an emotional level that no book has before. I found myself so inovolved with Savi's character that I went through all the emotions with her. I found myself crying through most of this book (which is a compliment). This book was an inspiration to me. I learned alot about myself and how to deal with some stuggles from my own past with abuse. Thank you Kally for such an amazing book.
My Leige of Dark Haven by Cherise Sinclair

My Liege of Dark Haven (Mountain Masters, #3)

Book Blurb:

Threatened by university cutbacks, Professor Abigail Bern’s only hope is to publish a provocative research paper--soon. Planning to covertly observe behavior in the notorious Dark Haven BDSM club, she takes a receptionist job. When the owner calls upon her to assist in a demonstration, she’s appalled. Then fascinated. Under the unyielding hands of the master known as my Liege, she discovers a need to be more than an observer.

His late wife had been the center of his life, and Xavier Leduc wants no other. But when his new receptionist does her utmost to keep an emotional distance from him, he’s intrigued and digs deeper. She’s adorable. Intriguingly intelligent, beautifully submissive, sweetly vulnerable. He soon realizes her defenses are keeping her on the fringe of her sexuality--and her life. As he draws her into fuller participation, she unconsciously does the same for him. She begins to fill his world.

Ever since the night she met my Liege Xavier, Abby has questioned everything she believes about herself. She’s falling for the stern owner of Dark Haven and thinks he’s beginning to care for her...until the day he learns why she’s in his club.

Angie J Review:

So I must admit starting this book I was a little bit scared of My Leige. He was a very powerful, all consuming man and I had some reservations about him. Man, am I glad I was wrong. He was so sweet and passionate but very in control of everything all the time. He melted my heart at how he cared for the puppies and was kinda "girlie" when he wasnt going to be introduced to her parents at the party she wouldnt invite him too. I had to laugh that this powerful man had a little bit of an ego check with Abby.

All in all I loved the book and the chemistry. I have never read a "bad" book from Cherise. She writes and makes sure that the reader is satisfied with the story everytime.  I love that she gives us characters like Master deVries who we are terrified about but at the same time are dying to find out more of the man...but not up close and personal thank you.  LOL

PS The fact that I am a street team member and Cherise gave us a shout out was kinda cool....squee!!
