I got asked to do an author guest post by my girls and I am so excited to be sharing my story with you all. So here it is. MY story.

About Moi:

To be honest, I just started writing this year. Some authors have written their whole lives and some start later one, some even WAY later on.

As long as you have a story or something to say, I guess it doesn't matter how old you are.

I always kept a journal but I never actually wrote a story. Most of the stories that I thought of, someone else had used or they were stories that came from books I read.

Last year, my aunt told me that I should write a book. I told her that the stories in my head weren't mine. She said that if I really thought of something, she's sure I could come up with a story of my own.

So I did. I thought and thought and thought. A couple of months went by and then I texted my sister one day and asked her if she wanted to write a book. She has some fantastic story ideas bouncing around in that wonderful brain of hers so I thought maybe we could work together.

Well after working on our story for a couple of weeks, a story of my own popped into my head and I needed to write it.

After messing around with it and writing some poor judgement based...um...scene's, inspiration hit and I finally have a story moving. My sister has been so supportive of me pushing our book back to write my own. So thank you to her. She'll get a special dedication of her own in my book.

So anyways, back to me.

I'm an avid reader. I've been reading for as long as I can remember. I'm also a HUGE sucker for a good romance novel so I decided to write one.

About my book:

Ok so I actually have the cover of my book already but it's not being revealed until I get published. Its a secret.

But I CAN tell you the title.

*drum roll please*

It's called...

Wait for it...

BREAK ME

Squee. Hehe. So I haven't really told anyone what it's about. It's romance, obviously. Probably even erotica romance.

It will have an HEA. Might end on a cliff hanger. I sure love cliff hangers.

It's not your average bubblegum, hearts and flowers type romance book.

The couple is going to have a lot of crap to deal with to be happy. It's sad and heartbreaking to write but I know it'll be happy in the end.

It will also be a series.

This is just book one.

I can't share anymore right now but I will tell you, there will be some...

Hot boys...

Hot tattoos...

Hot girls...

Bad boys...

and of course, hot sex.

“I needed to know.” The pad of his thumb ran over my bottom lip and he placed a soft kiss on my lips.

I frowned, confused. “Know what?”

“If your lips tasted as good as they looked.”

“You are definitely blushing now.” He placed a kiss on my neck.

“Sebastian.”

“What, little one?”

“I…I…” I stammered, words not forming properly on my tongue.

He chuckled. “Is there something you want?”

Oh God. He was going to make me say it, wasn’t he?

“Please…I…”

“Yes?”

My Review:

I thought that this was a great story. 

“Sam Wallace always found work boots sexy, and as Kevin Mazze stormed across the parking lot, he screamed sex with a capital S.”  (woooo, fanning self)

The hot guy (Kevin Mazze) meets a single mom who has been hurt by everyone she loves.  Her father dies, her brothers and mother don’t think she can take over the company, so they sell it without consulting her, she catches her husband cheating on her….Can she trust again? 

“I may be blond, Mr. Mazze, but I’m not an idiot.”

She moves to a new city with her 5 year old daughter.  She finds a job.  She meets Kevin… the story takes place pretty quickly….within about a week’s time.  The story was very steamy at times.  Kevin helps her live out one of her fantasies (blindfolded).  Pretty HOT!! 

Kevin is a very nice guy who always thinks of others first. Kevin also has a naughty side.

“He was the man her mama warned her about.”

 Being the nice guy causes problems sometimes.  He finds out, the hard way, that thinking of others can back fire on you.  Sam has a hard time learning to trust again, but once she looks at things through her daughter’s eyes, things finally click and she decides to go for it.

Kevin, of course, does something to mess up his good thing.  He has to get her back….

“He had no idea what the future held, but he wanted it to look like her.”

Sam doesn’t let people run over her any more.  She sticks up for what she wants.

“I don’t normally do well with orders, but you’re pretty hot, so in your case I’ll make an exception.”

Will Sam learn to trust Kevin?  She knows that Michy, her daughter, trusts him.  Then she asks him…..

 “Do you promise to always catch me?”

Overall Rating: 3.5 stars

I can't tell you how much of a crush I have on Slate!! What's not to love about a hot biker with bright blue eyes!!! and we find his sensitive side!!! I am so proud of Sammie!! She starts out being a shy-won't stick up for herself stay at home mom that won't stick up for helf -- THEN she finds herself....AND Slate! It's a great story that will keep you intrigued throughout the whole book!! Of course there are surprises! Read this book, you will NOT be disappointed!!

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.

*Runs over and grabs my new Twinsie Brenda and kisses her all over her face*   OMG thank you for this delicious read.  It is like Sons of Anarchy the TV show and Breaking Bad all in to one!!!

Ok so this story is about super unhappily married house wife Samantha.  Her entire life is about her daughter and trying to put the spark in to her loveless marriage.  Her daughter gets he to start a hobby.  SO what does she do?  Pilates and kick boxing which soon became pole dancing!!!  Yup pole dancing.  Well this hot MILF get a job as a pole dancer only at a gentleman's club.    She does this while her cheating husband is off "at work" out of town.  She really enjoys this new found "life".  While working she sees a delicious bad boy biker names Slate.  Well he buys her a drink after her set and is smitten with her.  They continue to flirt with each other. One night his fellow biker boys get a bit fresh with her and he pretty much claims her as his.  When he tries to buy a private time with her she says no and boy was that a mistake.  He ends up embarrassing her  (really Slate it was s douche bag move to be honest).  She says I am outta her but he catches her and well they "fight it out in the sheets" that night *giggles*.  The relationship is a "Friends with Benefits" kinda thing.  Samantha aka Sunny to her biker boy toy wants more...well some major miscommunication due to Samantha's 'wonderful husband" and they break up.  Samantha is broken.  She finds out that GASP she is prego with Slate's baby .....guess what?  the hubby had his junk fixed so he knows it ain't his......Snickers....

OMG so while all the baby daddy drama is going on Samantha notices some shady bank accounting in her marriage checking and savings account.  She has her friends help her which gets her involved in a major federal operation.  But While she helps the Feds, she gets a big shock in her daughters new 'buddy" *Que ominous music*  Its Slate...Say what?  Yup he is now clean cut an a professional.....??  Huh?  What?  You are lost?  Well people this book has so many twists and turns in it I was loving each and every single one!!!

I sooo want to keep telling this story but I will give it all away.  Lets just say.  I love books and I do get excited about some books and this one is one I will talking about for awhile now.  It is THAT good!!!

Chapter 7 – Claire
“I’ve been dreaming about this all week,” I murmur into his mouth.

His hand slides under my knees and he scoops me up in his arms as he stands from the chair and carries me to my bed. He sets me down gently, our lips never losing contact as I reach for the waistband of his jeans and pull him on top of me. Right away, my body begins to tremble with my need for him.

“Are you okay?” he whispers as he kisses my neck and I nod hastily. “Good ‘cause I’m about to wreck you.”

He spreads my legs open and I lift my hips as he grinds into me.

I moan softly. “Please take this off,” I beg as I yank his shirt up.

He chuckles as he pulls his shirt over his head and gazes down at me with that sexy smile that makes me ache for him. His body is so perfectly smooth and muscular. I reach up and touch the tattoo on his chest, the compass filled with waves, and he grabs my hand. He kisses the inside of my wrist then lays my hand down at my side. His hands slide over my belly then under my lower back. He lifts me up so my back is arched and plants a soft kiss just above my belly button. The smile in his eyes as he looks up at me makes my chest heave with anticipation.

His fingers whisper over my skin and I sigh as they land on the button of my jeans. He takes his time undoing the button and I feel body growing hungrier and more impatient by the second.

“What do you want me to do to you?” he asks as he drags the zipper down and lays a soft kiss on abdomen.

I hate when he asks me this. I get so flustered when I talk about this stuff.

I swallow my nerves then answer. “I want you to make me… scream your name.”

I whisper the last three words and he laughs softly. “You’re so fucking adorable. Do you need a joke to relax?”
He grabs the waistband of my jeans and I lift my hips so he can slide them down, taking my panties with them. “Yes, please.”

“This one’s going to be dirty,” he says as he tosses my jeans and panties onto the floor and kisses my hipbone. “First, take off your shirt. I want to look at you.”

I tear off my shirt and slip out of my bra then lie back as he sits up on his knees to look at me. It’s a testament to how comfortable I feel with Adam that I don’t even flinch at the fact that the lights are on. Adam has never made me feel anything other than completely beautiful.

His eyes take in every inch of me, his gaze skimming over ever valley and curve before landing squarely on my face. “I’ll save the joke for later.”

He slides two fingers inside me and I close my eyes as I hold my breath. His fingers slide in and out of me as his thumb massages my clit.

“Oh, my God,” I breathe as I roll my hips against the motion of his hand.

“Look at me.”

I shake my head as the pleasure builds inside me and he laughs. “Come on, baby. I want to see your eyes.”

I open my eyes and he smiles as he slides his fingers out of me right before I come.

“That’s not fair,” I protest.

He ignores my grumbling as he lies on top of me and kisses me hard. I’m breathless, lost under the weight of his body and the power of his kiss. Then he starts to move down, laying a soft trail of kisses straight down the middle of my torso until he reaches my center.

I gasp as soon as his tongue touches me. “Adam.” He lets out a soft grunt as a reply. “Don’t stop.” I try not to writhe away from him as the warmth builds inside me, spreading out from my core in furious waves. “Adam!”

“Say it louder,” he says, and the sensation of his breath and the vibration of his voice send chills through me.

As the orgasm reverberates through my body, a cry of euphoria explodes from my lips. “Adam!”
I hear a soft chuckle as he finishes me off with another lick and a soft kiss. My body trembles as he kisses each of my breasts then sits up. He takes off his jeans and I attempt to recover as he slides a condom on.

“Sweeter than sugar,” he says, as he lies on top of me, resting his elbows on either side of my head, and kisses me.

I rake my nails softly over his ribs and he twitches between my legs. He kisses me slowly, taking his time, drawing out the moment until I finally clutch fistfuls of his hair and pull his face back. I don’t say anything. He knows what I want from the hunger in my eyes.

He eases himself into me and I wrap my legs around his hips to coax him farther inside. I draw in a sharp breath as he hits my core and a spark of pain ignites the fire inside me.

He watches every change in my face as he moves rhythmically in and out of me. “Are you okay?” I nod and he kisses my forehead then goes back to gazing into my eyes. “I love you, Claire.”

“I love you, Adam.”

He presses his lips to mine and I know, from that one look and the way he’s kissing me so tenderly, that there’s something he’s not telling me.

I was given this book by the author as an ARC for a truthful and honest review.

I must first begin by saying I love this series.  I mean I review Off Sides (Off Sides Review) and fell in love with the author.  I love the writing and pacing of these novels.  They are a MA audience but as an erotica reader...I got plenty of hot loving :)  Holy crap Nix and his dominate behavior and all his biting.....*Fans myself*

This book is about Ryan's little sister Emily.  As we know her from book one, she was a self absorbed, snotty, brat of a girl.  She was hateful to Danny and was in on the break up of Ryan and Danny.  When she finally saw the love Ryan and Danny had, she decided to change her life.  So this book is her changing her life.  She went to interview Linc, one of Ryan's hockey friends, for a journalism class she is taking.  Well after her interview she kinda....runs over Nix....Linc's hot as hell older brother who is a hot mess thanks to the war in the middle east.  She ruins his bike and is going to pay him off quietly.  She leaves the run in shaken because Nix is burned into her brain!!!!

Nix is a grumpy, loner who doesn't do relationships.  He has his brother and dad and a limitless amount on one night stands and he is quite happy with life.  All is good because who would want a man with the shame he has?????  When Emily runs him down he can't believe this stunning GIRL has effected him.  He even agreed to take monthly payments...WTH happened to him.  Well a few days later they run into each other.  Not to make a payment but for a party!!  Emily says she can't pay cuz her beeotch of a mom cut her off her trust fund for *GASP* declaring journalism as her major in college!!!  I MEAN JOURNALISM....just awful!!!  Well Nix puts her to work in his shop. The more time they are together the more intense the sexual chemistry is.  

Emily and friends go out and a guy gets a little "grabby" with Emily.  Who does she call to save her???? *drum roll*  NIX!!!!!  When the 2 get to talking, their relationship begins to change and grow.  The two keep denying their attraction until Emily says "no strings attached is ok with me!!"  Nix is gone!!!!  Emily always shocks him with how opposite she reacts to situations.  Needless to say the two begin a "dating" type relationship.  Well, Nix is afraid once Emily find out his "dark secret" she will leave him.  When she finds his "shame" he blows up and throws her out......what happens you ask?  guess you better scroll down and click the buy link:)  i will say my favorite scene is the final scene where Nix does something to Emily with his hands....not it isn't sexual people but so heart felt and sweet....sigh.....I think I fell in love with him a little bit more after that scene!!!

I hope I have hooked you on this book....I am totally going to leave you hanging....I want you to yell at the screen and then go and buy this book ASAP!!!!

The reason I chose to read this novella is because I got asked to by the amazing author. I told her that anything she writes, to throw my way.

 

So here's my review. I LOVED IT! It was short and sweet and SUPER adorable. It was quite different then what I've been reading lately so it was a nice change. It cleansed my palette so to speak.

 

The bond between Leandra and Kalista was inspiring and the back and forth banter was funny.

 

The boys, Caleb and Owen were not your typical southern gentleman. Caleb is smart AND sexy. What more could a girl ask for?

 

This novella made me laugh and giggle and sigh in delight. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I want to know what happens!

I like to read alllll lengths of novels.  I love the quick read some days.  This was a great quick read.  I love the idea of going back and finding the one who broke your heart.....Finding your one true love. 

Syndie and TJ were best friends and then they were Boyfriend/Girlfriend.  Well, TJ, being a horny teenager, dumps Syndie for some "lady loving" with girls who will put out.  Guess what?  TJ kinda feels bad when Syndie wont talk to him and runs away when she graduates High School.  He has regretted his actions ever since.  Needless to say, when she returns to take care of her ailing father, TJ declares a war on her heart.  He tells her he WILL be with her after apologizing for past behavior.  Well Syndie doesn't know what to do or think.  She still loves TJ and wants to believe they could be together but still love each other after 15 years???  Is that EVEN possible?  This was a sweet and short novel. The HEA at the end is great and priceless.  I loved the fact that Syndie's dad is who tells her to go after her "Forever Love" like he had with her mom.  It is a sweet moment.

About the Author

Melissa Keir has always wanted to be an author when she wasn't hoping for a career as a race car driver.  Her love of books was instilled by her mother and grandparents who were avid readers. She'd often sneak books away from them so that she could fantasize about those strong alpha males and plucky heroines.  In middle school and high school, Melissa wrote sappy love poems and shared them with her friends.  She still has those poems today! In college, her writing changed to sarcastic musings on life as well as poems with a modern twist on fairy tales and won awards for her writing. Melissa doesn't believe in down time.  She's always keeping busy.  Melissa is a wife and mother, an elementary school teacher, a book reviewer, an editor for a publishing company as well as an author. Her home blends two families and is a lot like the Brady Bunch, without Alice- a large grocery bill, tons of dirty dishes and a mound of laundry. She loves to write stories that feature "happy endings" and is often found plotting her next story.
